Chapt 2: YOU CAN'T DO THIS!!!

You were currently cleaning the cow pins, since it was your turn. Dark, on the other hand, was feeding all the animals.

You wiped some sweat of your forehead with the back of your hand and continued to work. That was until the sound of a huge explosion was heard from outside.

You paid no attention to it. Dark probably hit one of the cuccos and now a huge hord was after him. This has happened before, and you remembered on that day they destroyed a lot of stuff. It did sound like a bunch of stuff was exploding.

That's what you thought until Dark came running into the barn.

"(Y/N)...GET OUT...HERE, QUICK!!!" He ordered completely out of breath.

"Dark, if you need me to calm down the cuccos again, I can't, I'm busy right now" you said plainly, not looking up from your work.

"BUT (Y/-"

"Just hide out in the house for a while" you interrupted, "I promise they will go away."

"PLEASE COME OUTSIDE!!!" Dark pleaded.

"Dark, I already said I can't, I'm busy right now" you repeated.

"BUT YOUR FAMILY" Dark yelled pointing at the door.

This made you stop what you were doing and look at Dark. "What do you mean my family?"

"THEY'RE HERE!!!!!" Dark yelled, throwing his hands up in the air.

Your eyes widened and you froze. Dark rolled his eyes before running over to you and grabbing your hand.

"COME ON!!!" He yelled before pulling you out of the barn.

Dark was right. When you got out of the barn, there they were. Your family.

Your Mother and Father were talking to Talon. While your two 6 year old brothers, the twins, we're chasing a cucco.

Talon noticed you were staring at them. He smiled and pointed at you. You could hear him say, "there she is!"

Your Mother and Father turned around and their eyes widened. Your Mother had tears in her eyes and her hands were over her mouth. Your Father, on the other hand, smiled a warm smile and held out his arms.

You were no longer frozen from being surprised. Tears began to stream down your face before you let go of Dark's hand and ran into your Father's arms.

Your Mother joined in the hug and you held each other for a whole minute. When you let go, your Mother still had tears pouring down her face.

"It's so good to see you (y/n)" your father said.

"We missed you so much!" Your Mother cried, bringing you into another hug.

"I'm missed you guys too" you said.

That's when the angry cry of an cucco could be heard. The twins got a hold of it. Dark was already over there and picked the boys up before walking away from the mad cucco. While you picked up the cucco and calmed it down before it could call it's buddies.

Dark set the boys down. The boys looked up at him with annoyed looking faces.

"Why'd you do that?" the twin on the right said.

"Yeah! We were having fun!" the twin on the left said.

Dark was about to answer them, if it hadn't had been for your Mother who called them over.

"Logan! Luke!"

Logan and Luke, the twins. Just like in movies and TV shows, they were best friends. They did all sorts of mischievious things together and you could never separate them. They both had longish messy your color hair and were quite short.
