Chapter 4: The Temple of Time

Here you were, sitting right in the middle of the Temple of Time. It was one of every Zelda fan's dreams to see this place in person, and since you were a huge fan of the games, this was a dream come true!

If this were a just a normal trip, you would have dropped every thing you were doing and start exploring. Even though you wanted to look around right now, you couldn't.

Sighing, you looked down at your lap, Dark's head was resting in your lap. Dark had got knocked out and he still hadn't woken up yet.

I wonder? You thought.

Lifting your hand, you ran your fingers through his hair. This caused Dark to sigh in happiness, he was definitely capable of waking up right now.

A smile appeared on your face as you continued to ran your fingers through his jet black hair, but it was soon replaced with a devilish smirk. Slowly moving your hand towards Dark's ear, you placed your thumb and index finger in the right position before ruftly pinching his ears.

Dark's eyes widened and he yelped out in pain, before sitting up. Clutching his ear, he looked over his shoulder at you, anger and pain filled his eyes.

"(Y/N)! THAT HURT! I THOUGHT I TOLD - woah, where are we?" Dark suddenly relized where you were.

You giggled at his sudden mood swing. "I'm sorry for pinching your ear Dark, and we're in the Temple of Time."

"Temple of Time?" Dark asked.

"That's right" a voice said from behind you.

Looking over your shoulder, you saw Link.

"We are in the Temple of Time" he confirmed.

"You used your ocarina to get us here, didn't you?" You asked.

"That's right" Link nodded his head.

You stood up. "I've always wanted to come here!"

Quickly, you scurried over to the large stone pedestal that sat at the very end of the room. There were three stones that sat on it, a blue, a red, and a green stone.

"WOAH!" You yelled out, "it the Goron's Ruby, the Zora's Sapphire, and the Kokiri Emerald!"

Looking up, your eyes widened in amazment. The door to the room where the Master Sword was kept was open!

"Oh my gosh! That's where the Master Sword was held!"

Turning around, you saw a surprised look on Link and Dark's face.

"Man (y/n)..." Dark began, "you sure know a lot about this place."

"How do you know so much?" Link asked, "you've never been here before."

Your eyes went wide. "I...um...research! Yeah, research is a good word to describe it."

Dark laughed, but suddenly groaned in pain. He placed his hand on his head and continued to groan. You gasped and rushed over to him.

Kneeling down in front of him, you placed your hand under his bangs and on his forehead.

"Dark, are you okay?!" You asked, worry in your voice.

Dark gave you a reasuring smile. "I'm fine, it's just a headache."

"I'm not surprised that you're getting a headache" Link shook his head, "you did get hit in the head pretty hard."

Dark began to stand up, but he nearly fell over. You quickly wrapped your arms around him and helped him up.

"I see spots!" Dark groaned, holding his head in pain.

"You're going to be okay" you reasured him before pecking his cheek.

"Alright, now that you're up, we can get going" Link said before walking towards the exit.

You gave him a confused look. "Wait! Where are we going?"

Link stopped and turned around. "We're going to Hyrule Castle."

Your eyes went wide. "Wait!! Are you serious!?!?"

Link nodded his head. "That's right. Now let's get going, Princess Zelda should know where to start our search for Ganondorf and your family."
