Nothing of the storyline is changed. I rewrote my terrible paragraphs. :)
--------------------

I followed behind Toby as he lead me through the quiet forest. He seemed to follow a path or something. He walked quite fastly and it was hard for me to keep up with him. He jumped over old trees with ease as for me... I barely crawled over them.

"T-Toby! Slow down a bit." I called and stopped, putting my hands on my knees, panting softly.

He turned around and laughed a bit. "Wow, you sure get tired fast."

"Well, I don't spend every single day jumping over trees and wondering around the forest, Toby." I rolled my eyes and straightened myself. He chuckled, still looking over at me.

"Well, (Y/n), are you ready to go?" He turned around and began to walk.

I huffed and tried to catch up to him.

---

"And we're here~!" Toby smiled and I gasped.

"It's beautiful.." There was a lake in front of us, surrounded by trees. It looked beautiful in the moonlight.

"I know, right? Come, we can sit down up in that tree." He pointed towards a huge tree.

"Okay!" I nodded and went ahead. If there's anything I'm good at, then it's climbing trees. I began to quickly and gracefully climbing the tree. I was about halfway up when Toby started to climb. I thought that this is high enough and sat down on a strong branch.

"I'm guessing you climb trees every day, huh?" Toby chuckles and makes his way besides me, sitting down.

"Well..no..kinda? There's a tree by my bedroom's window. Since I tend to sneak out at evenings or nights and my room is on the second floor, I use it to climb outside." I smiled, somewhat proud of myself for knowing how to climb trees.

"Oooh. That's pretty neat." He nodded. "Aaaanyway, n-now you have nowhere to run so..why were you crying earlier?" Toby asked, turning his gaze to me. My stomach dropped.

"Um.." Still not sure if I should tell him or not. I mean, sure he's a great friend and all.. but..

I hear him sigh. "You don't have to-"

I cut him off mid-sentence, again. "No.." Ah what the hell. "I'll tell you. I guess I can trust you." I gave him a little smile and looked down.

"Maybe you can." He looked down as well.

'Maybe? What's that suppose to mean?!' I thought to myself. Shaking my weird thoughts away. I took a deep breath and started to speak.

"Well... You know how I suddenly just appeared at this house, right?" He nodded.

"What's up with that, anyway? Are you a new proxy or something?" He asked in a low voice.

"Noo..?" I blinked not sure what a 'proxy' is. "My mother sent me here to live with her "friends". She said I'd be safe here. You see, there's a murderer on the loose in our town. They say he lives in these woods." I shrugged. "I have no idea why my mother thought that I'd be safe here, /deeper/ into the woods."

Toby giggled.

"What?" I looked at him, confused.

"The killer? It's EJ, he was low on supplies so he and Jeff decided to disturb the peace in that town." He simply replied, not looking at me.

"...As in Jeff and EJ...from the masion?" Toby nodded and then it hit me. The black clothing kind of gave it away. How didn't I notice it sooner? "Oh my God. I've been staying in the same froom with a killer for three days..." I just couldn't believe it. "Why is he staying with you all?!"
