Transcendence

Chapter 9

I tried opening the door again and pushed my body up against it. If he wasn't going to let me in right now, I was going to get in one way or another.

I backed up and rammed myself into the door. It budged a little, but it didn't open. I tried again and again, and it finally worked. What I saw terrified me.

"D...Dipper!?!? What's going on!?!?" The room was a mess, Dipper was half-way up in the air, he had wings,  and there was a dark cloud surrounding him. 

He turned around and looked at me, a growl on his face. "YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE COME IN, SISTER..."

 There it was again! In his voice! "Dipper, please tell me what's going on..." I started to tear up.

"OH BUT IT I DID, I WOULD HAVE TO KILL YOU!"

My eyes widened, "BUT I'M YOUR SISTER!"

He just laughed. Laughing,  at his own sister.... 

I started to back up but I found the door was shut again. I tried opening it, but it was locked again. "No...." I kept trying but the knob wouldn't even budge. I was trapped.

"I TRIED TO TELL YOU, SHO- SISTER!"

"Please Dipper, you have to come back! I don't know what's gotten into you but-"

"OH NOTHING'S GOTTEN INTO ME! AND I'LL TELL YOU ONE THING, THE DIPPER YOU KNEW AND LOVED IS NO LONGER HERE."

"Dipper, please!  I know you're still there!

"IT'S TOO LATE TO PLEAD ME, SHOOTING STAR!" I gasped, "NOW PREPARE TO DIE!"

I was cornered. No where to run, no where to hide. I wasn't ready to die.... Especially by my own brother... I saw fire forming in his hands. He raised them up about to shoot at me.

"STOP!" I heard a familiar voice yell out.

Hey guys, sorry if this chapter escalated too fast, I'm really tired and I didn't get a lot of sleep. Not to mention it's also 8:50 in the morning. So because of school I'm going to have to go back to one chapter per week starting next week, it'll still be Mondays. This story will be ending soon, still haven't decided whether it should have a happy or a sad ending. I know how it will work out, I just don't know how I'll make the consequences work out. 

Also, because I've been having a busy week lately I won't be updating Rebels of the New World until next Wednesday.
