Chapter 6

I woke up and found a pillow behind me and one behind Amy. My mum was back obviously. I gently laid Amy's head onto the pillow and stood up, it about 6:00am. I went upstairs to iron my clothes for school; I got out a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, a blue floral top, a brown cardigan and my matching brown pumps. I quickly ran into the shower and washed my hair and body, I came in my room with a towel on my head and a robe around my body. I plugged my hair drier into the socket and began blow drying my hair. Amy walked in the room and collapsed onto my bed.

"Good morning!" I said

"Morning" she groaned. Amy wasn't a morning person

"How comes your up early?" I asked

"It was too cold downstairs" she mumbled

"Oh, go have a shower, I'll leave the iron on for you" I said

"Ok" she said

While Amy was ironing her clothes, I finished blow drying my hair and put my clothes on I decided to plat my hair to one side and leave my fringe out. When I was finished Amy walked in, her eyes went massive and she said

"If I was a boy I would so go out with you!" we both started laughing

"Well ok, you're officially a freak I'm gonna go downstairs and make breakfast" I said

"Ok" she said

I walked downstairs and found my mum sitting on the table feeding my little brother and my sister in the living room watching T.V.

"Morning momma" I said giving her a kiss on the cheek

"Morning honey, did you and Amy sleep ok?" she asked

"Yeah we did" I said

"Where is she?" she said

"Getting ready" I said

"Ok" she said

I got a pan out from the cupboard and got two eggs out of the fridge. I cracked them and put them in the pan then got out a bag of sausages and put four on a plate. I slowly began to cook them.

"So where's dad?" I asked

"He had an important meeting to attend to he went early" she said

"Oh" I said

"So, did you meet our new neighbours?" My mum said

"Um, no" I said

"Well you should, they seem like good people" she said

"How many kids does she have?" I asked

"Same as us, an older son and two little kids, I think the boy is about your age" she said

"Um yeah, he goes to our school and is literally in all of my classes" I told her

"Well that's nice, maybe you should get to know him more, then who knows what will happen later" She said

"MOM!" I screamed

"What only teasing" she giggled

"So, mum I was wondering if I was aloud to go and sleep over at my friend's house."

"Sure honey" mum said

"Great, after school I'll come back to pick up my things" I said

Amy walked down the stairs wearing a black pencil skirt, a white floral top and black heels.

"Morning Amy" my mum said

"Morning Mrs Davis" she said

"Did you sleep well?" mum asked

"Yeah, I did" Amy said

I finished putting the egg and sausages onto two plates then opened the fridge to get orange juice out, I washed two glasses then poured the juice.

"So, Mrs Davis have you met the new neighbours yet?" Amy asked

"Yes I have they seem like a good bunch and Aria told me that their older son goes to your school" mum said

"Yeah, he is like in all our classes well Aria's any way" she said

"Oh really?" mum said

"Oh yeah, and.." Amy said, but I interrupted her and gave her, her breakfast

"Here you go Amy eat up" I said

I gave her one of those "Don't say it" looks but she ignored it and began to talk

"So any way, I was gonna say, he's like Aria's partner in like everything" she began

"Oh is it!" mum said

"Yeah I think he LIKES her" Amy said

I literally spat all of my orange juice on my little brother; luckily he's a boy so he found it funny. I quickly ran the tap and washed my face, then my brother. Sorry Daniel (btw that's his name). After I was done I put my plate in the sink then grabbed my bag and swung it around my shoulders.

"Let's go Amy" I said

"Ok, by Mrs Davis, bye Daniel" Amy said

"Bye mom!" I said

"Bye" mum said

"Why'd you do that?" I asked

"Do what?" Amy said, but I knew she knew what I meant

"Oh forget it!" I said we kept on walking until some one behind us gave us a fright by coughing

"Listen dude can't yo-"Amy said while turning around but she stopped mid way and froze, I stared at her then decided to turn around. There stood a tall boy with spiky hair hazel eyes and a massive smile on his face, Zayn.

"Hi Aria, hi um..." he said

"Amy" Amy said

"Oh, hi Amy" he said

"Hi" she said. Amy have my a quick nudge

"Uh, hi Zayn" I managed to say

"Hi" he said, but with an even more bigger smile

From the corner of my eye I saw Amy covering her mouth trying so hard not to smile. I quickly looked away from him, looked at the ground then at Amy.

"So shall we go?" I said

"Yeah, let's go" Zayn said
