~ Edward Jacob's POV ~My father stood in front of me and my sister, Renesmee, before he bent down and softly smiled at us.
He looked into my eyes and his own widened suddenly, and he said, "your eyes changed colour."
Renesmee looked at me, and she let out a happy grin before she placed her hand on my cheek, 'Your eyes are brown, like mine!'
I frowned a little, momma liked my green eyes.
My father furrowed his eyebrows, "Your eyes have gone back to green."
I frowned even deeper, why was my eye colour changing?
It got me thinking, even though momma liked my green eyes - she had human brown eyes and Renesmee also has brown eyes.
"Anyway, E.J and Ness, a man is coming today," My father started, "your momma's daddy, and he is human which means," he looked more at Renesmee, "you cannot bite him."
Renesmee frowned a little before she smiled happily again.
I looked over at her, 'no bite, Renny.'
She placed her hand on my cheek again, 'I won't, Eddie I promise!'
I looked over at daddy, who's eyes widened once again, "your eyes are brown again."
I started smiling, knowing how now. 'Daddy, I can change my eye colour when I think about it! Green to brown!'
My father stared at me, before he bent down and kissed my forehead, "Your one smart little boy, aren't you?"
I decided to keep my eyes brown, to give momma a surprise and to not make things harder for Grandpa - Momma's daddy.
"Rose!" My father called, "Alice!"
My auntie's appeared out of nowhere, smiling at us.
"Hi, little one." My auntie Rose cooed at me, as she picked me up, Alice already gone off with Renesmee and my father had disappeared.
'Renesmee?' I sent to her mind, slightly upset she was now gone.
Auntie Rose smiled warmly at me, "Alice has..." she paused, before her eyes shined, like she suddenly knew something. "Just put Renesmee in the play area until its time to meet Grandpa Charlie."
I clapped my hands, excited about meeting Grandpa Charlie.
Auntie Rose carried me to my sister, Renesmee who was with Dawn.
'Dawn!'
My red-eyed sister looked at me before she beamed happily.
Auntie Rose put me down, and I sat staring at Dawn.
Red eyes.
That would most possibly freak out Grandpa Charlie, and Momma and Daddy wouldn't want nor like that.
I focused on her eye colour, and I watched as they changed to blue.
I grinned happily, before Rose picked me up again. I frowned, looking up at my favourite auntie in question.
"Its time to meet Grandpa Charlie." She smiled warmly down at me, her eyes shining at the sight of me.
I made a baby sound at the back of my throat, and looked over to see my father picking up Renesmee.
I tilted my head a little, sideways, before sending him a thought, 'Daddy, you forgot Dawn.'
My father looked over at me, his face softening before bending down again and picking my other sister up swiftly.
Dawn smiled happily and cuddled into our father, her face rubbing against his chest as she got more comfortable.
I saw my father's face softened a little as he looked down at her little body that was expanding happiness as our father held her, and I saw his body become less tense.
I smiled more, and in my happiness for my sister, I didn't notice my shield go down, as I could control it.
'I hope my daddy likes Dawn now.' I thought, 'I just want everybody to be happy.'
I looked up at my auntie, not noticing my fathers expression as he looked at me.
My auntie walked out the room, and into another one, where my mother and a strange, human man was standing in front of her. My father stopped next to my auntie, smiling slightly, the same crooked smile that I had. The one my mother adored.
"Charlie." My father said, gaining their attention.
I noticed my mothers eyes scan us, before they landed on me and she beamed, walking forward, her hands out, to which my auntie Rose gave her me, quickly, obviously the smell of my Grandpa's blood effecting her.
My Grandpa Charlie had dark hair and brown eyes, the same eyes as my mothers human ones, and the same as Renesmee's birth eyes and my eyes for the moment.
"Charlie, this is E.J, Renesmee and Elizabeth." My father introduced us, still smiling slightly.
Our Grandpa nodded and walked forward, "Your nephew and nieces?"
My father signed, smiling. "Our son and daughter..s."
Grandpa Charlie gulped and nodded, "Right. The adoption." He signed, before narrowing his eyes at me and Renesmee, "They got your eyes, Bella."
My mother looked down at me with surprise, knowing about my green eyes, but nevertheless she smiled.
"And he has a little colour of your hair." Grandpa continued, "but with a added shade. Like Bronze. Same as Ren-- Renez--"
"Renesmee." My father corrected him, chuckling.
"What does E.J stand for?"
My mother grinned, "Edward Jacob."
His eyes widened before he shook his head, "Nice." He mumbled, before looking over at my other sister, who still had her blue eyes.
I saw my mother eyes widened at the sight of them, before she looked down at me.
I expected something nice in her eyes, but instead, there was anger.
I immediately got worried and I didn't like it.
My throat went dry, as if I wanted blood, and I called for auntie Rose.
'Auntie Rose!' I cried in everybody's head, including Renesmee's and Dawn's, wanting nothing than her. 'Auntie Rose!' I repeated, not even a second after.
Auntie Rose almost instantly walked in, speed walking, although it looks like she just wants to run in vampire speed to me. She looked worried and concerned, and from my expression on my face, her expression of concern expanded immediately.
I reached out for her, not noticing my mothers sudden hurt expression, and my fathers and sisters confused ones.
Auntie Rose didn't even look at my mother, but instead snatched me away from her arms, looking down at me and stroking my cheek, noticing my sad eyes as she walked out.
When my momma looked at me like that, I no longer felt safe in her arms.
