Prom-posal: A Patrick Stump x reader

You had been dating Patrick Stump since Freshman year and you were so in love with him.

He was smart, funny, sexy, talented, cute and more!

But it was your senior year. Two weeks until prom and Patrick still hadn't asked you.

You and Patrick were currently sitting in his living room, studying for finals.

"So what color dress are you wearing to prom?" Patrick asked, turning to you with a cute smile.

"Why do you care?" You ask.

"We're going together aren't we?" He asks, putting a hand on your shoulder which you shrug off. You look him in the eye angrily.

"Excuse me, Mr. Stump? You haven't even asked me yet!" You say, slamming your text book shut.

"Fine. Will you go to prom with me?" He asks. You chuckle and roll your eyes.

"I'm sorry Patrick. I really expected more. We've been together for nearly 5 years. I'm sorry, no." You say.

He looks extremely hurt as you pack your stuff and walk out of his house sadly.

*TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY PATRICK BEING FEDORABLE*

The next day you walked to school alone. Patrick would've normally driven you but of course, due to last nights events, he didn't pick you up.

You had been crying. Had you been too rough on Patrick? Ya...

You wiped some tears as you walked through the halls, seeing all the Prom-posals amd happy couples talking about matching dresses with ties etc.

You walked into your first class which was music.

As you walked in everyone smiled at you with huge smiles. You made a questioning face as you put your books on your desk.

You were about to sit when you saw a note on your chair.

'Y/n, please stand up front'

You were seriously confused as you walked to the front of the classroom and sat on the stool up front.

Suddenly, Patrick walked through the door, wearing a fancy tux, his glasses and a black fedora and was carrying his guitar and a rose.

You gasped as he walked over, the glass smiling and gasping.

Patrick knelt in front of you and handed you the rose, tears in his eyes and a cute smile on his face. (These are lyrics I just thought of and yes I know they're cheesy and shitty)

You smiled and giggled at the cheesy lyrics as your eyes filled with happy tears.

The entire class applauded. You were crying tears of joy.

You nodded happily, Patrick stood up and you shared a passion filled kiss with the love of your life.
