Self conscious: An Austin Carlile x reader

You had been dating Austin Carlile, frontman of Of Mice and Men for about a year and a half.

Recently Austin had seemed distant and sad. He wouldn't talk to you as much and it was starting to worry you.

You came home from work one night and saw a sad Austin sitting on the couch.

You sighed but were desperate to find out why he was so depressed.

You walked over to Austin and straddles his lap, looking into his eyes.

"Baby what's wrong?" You ask.

"Nothing." He mumbles.

"You've been so distant and sad please baby. You've been avoiding me. The only times you've spoken to me is to say goodnight, and when you crawl into bed you don't hold me like you use too..." You say, close to tears.

He looks up at you to see a single tear rollinh down your cheek.

"W-was it something I did?" You ask, shakey.

Austin hugs you and kisses your tear away.

"No baby don't say that... I've just...I've felt so ugly lately baby. I feel like you deserve better. You could get anyone so why settle for the ugliest frontman of a band ever (I kid of course ;))." He says sadly.

"Austin hun, you are adorable. But I didn't fall for your amazing looks I fell for your amazing personality." You say and kiss his cheek.

"You are so kind to me, and so caring. You give the warmest and sweetest hugs and you never fal to cheer me up when I'm down." You say, kissing Austins cute nose.

Austin looks you in the eyes, blushing adorably. And with that Austin smashes his soft perfect lips against yours.

"I love you." Austin says, with that small smile you had missed this past little while.

You giggle and reply with "I love you too, Austin."

Austin and you change, him into nothing but pajama pants and you into his Slipknot tank top and some panties.

You two cuddle on the couch, whispering sweet nothings to each other and sharing cute little kisses as you drift off into each others warm arms, after this Austin never doubted himself again.
