Previously:

I was thinking about how well the night had been and how nice the dance with Cal was when I heard a thud. It was Callie. I quickly picked her up and dialed 911. Even though she blacked out, she was still able to speak slightly. "B- don't miss your reception." "No Callie." "I'm going to miss you so much. I love you Foster." "Don't talk like that." And then she shut her eyes.

Red and Blue lights shone brightly in the sunset followed by multiple other police cars. Hundreds of cars on the street tonight, but one ER van was particularly heartbroken. Callie Quinn Jacob lay on the stretcher surrounded by a broken hearted family. Two mommas, three brothers, one sister, and one wife. Jesus held a hyperventilating Mariana in his hands. Jude sad shocked-frozen nearly. To the far left sat a shocked husband-shocked that he was married to someone else and shocked at what had happened. The wife kept trying to make him pay attention to him, but little did she realize that he was broken. All Brandon could think of was Callie. The love of his life. There's was a forbidden love-one that would forbid them from ever being truly happy.

She was hooked up on multiple wires. IV tubes running down her arms. They all hoped that she'd wake up-wake up and smile her loving smile. But she didn't. She lay there still as a rock, with no movement- just subtle breathing.

BRANDON's POV:
She was broken. And it was partially my fault. I should have taken time off from my wedding to take care of Cal. I mean she was dying and I knew that, but I still kept my wedding on. She told me that she was fine with the wedding happening, but she wasn't. She had two months. I had crossed everyday out to remind me. By the time it was my wedding day, I'd thought that I was crossing off the days until my wedding. I'd honestly forgot about Cal's condition until she spoke at the wedding.

Doctors always say how many days you have left when you have a disease or condition. I never believed Callie's doctor when the news was told. Exactly two months. How can that be true?

We all rushed over to the hospital room, but the doctors refused to let us in. Caitlyn wanted to talk to me the whole day, so I asked her what it was. She reminded me that she was eight months pregnant and her appointment was soon. I responded with a nod.

CATHERINE's POV:

Brandon wasn't paying attention to anything I said. I know it was wrong to think that Callie ruined my wedding day, but still. She did! Now Brandon wouldn't focus on anything I said. I needed his complete attention on this day. My wedding day. My parents were hosting our reception that the bride and groom weren't even at!

I told Callie that she cold still talk to Brandon, but maybe I was wrong. I couldn't tell her now. I'd just have to keep Brandon away from her after this day. He should be focusing on his wife and his future baby. He let 'Cal' pick everything. She's the reason we don't know the gender of our baby. She thought it would be cool to be surprised and so B thought it would be too.

BRANDON's POV:

I couldn't think of anything. My mind wasn't working. My heart was pounding, my hands sweating. Doctors and nurses ran in and out of the room, but none stopped to talk to us. We tried getting answers for the first twenty minutes, but after that no one had enough energy to move or talk. We were just frozen. My arm on Jude. Jesus holding Mariana. And Cath and mommas sat shaken.

Hours passed, but no information was given. And I had fallen asleep minutes after thinking.

Thinking about Callie.

Hours passed by and not a word was uttered. Silence. Silence with noises of pressured heart beats.

Broken and unfixable.
