Dear future me,

Hi, future Renjun! This is your highschool self hahaha. I’m currently 15, how old are you now? I don’t even know why our teacher is making us do this, but here you go XD

I want to be an engineer because Mom said they have a high salary? Hahaha joke. But I hope you’re happy with whatever you’ve achieved now. I’m proud of you that you went through all of the hardships.

I don’t want dramas so I’ll just tell you something. I have a crush from another section. He’s so handsome, he plays basketball, he sings very well, also dances great, and he’s so smart. He joined a Science quiz bee last year and he won 1st place huhu so great! Genius people are really type, aren’t they? Hahaha but he’s such a flirt, I feel like I won’t have a chance with him HAHA. His name? Lee Donghyuck ♡♡♡

Too bad ‘cause I won’t know anything about him in the future, like, have you talked to him? Did he notice you already? Did you make the first move? Or we still don’t have a chance? Too bad, I won’t know :(( I want to know more about him but all I know is that he was born on June 6, 2000, his favorite color is red, and he’s good at Maths and Science. Tell me anything about it in the future hahaha just kidding.

I’ll stop here because my hand is hurting now huhu please take care, always. Even if you don’t become an engineer, it’s okay, as long as we’re comfortable in our life in the future. Always proud of you, Renjun.

“Fifteen year-old me is so cute.” Renjun laughs before putting the paper back where he found it.

“Baby, have you packed already—what’s that paper?” Someone suddenly barges in the room.

Renjun turns around to look at his boyfriend and shakes his head. “Nothing, just some letter from my younger self.”

“Huh?” His boyfriend sits next to him on the floor.

He chuckles. “When I was in high school, we were tasked to write a letter for our future self. I found the letter again.”

“Really?” His boyfriend laughs. “What did you write?”

“Secret!” Renjun grins.

“Come on, baby!” A fake pout from his boyfriend. “I wanna read what teenager Renjun wrote about adult Renjun.”

Renjun pouts and sighs. “Tch, fine.”

He picks up the paper again and slowly hands it to his boyfriend. Smiling, his boyfriend immediately grabs it and excitedly unfolds the paper.

“Dear future me,” he reads. “Cute! OMG!” He continues to read as Renjun watches him. He’s smiling and laughing while reading.

When he finishes, he gives it back to Renjun. “Aww, you’re such a cutie.”

“I know, right?”

“I knew it, you fell first.” His boyfriend fondly stares at him, “But I definitely fell harder, and still falling.”

Renjun can’t help but smile and suddenly hugs his boyfriend. “I love you so much, Hyuckie!”

Donghyuck hugs him back tightly. “I love you so much more, Junnie!”
