TITLE: you talk too much

SUMMARY: in which huang renjun has a huge crush on his hot-tempered (and literally hot) classmate, lee donghyuck. five (5) times the former tries to kiss him but the latter always declines. until one day, donghyuck finally kisses him and his brain short circuits.

note: the 5+1 au, college au, renjun and donghyuck are both architect students, grumpy haechan & cheerful renjun

"Donghyuck-ah!"

Renjun comes running to the table where Donghyuck is seated at the cafeteria. When the latter notices him, he clicks his tongue and grabs his lunch, ready to get up.

Before Donghyuck even leaves the table, Renjun stops him by pulling on the sleeve of his polo shirt. He grins and pushes him to sit before sitting next to him.

"Hi!" Renjun greets, his voice high-pitched.

Donghyuck only rolls his eyes and ignores the older. He grabs his spoon and fork to immediately start eating.

Renjun sighs, puffing his cheeks out as he watches Donghyuck chews on his food.

"Hey, I'll go buy some smoothie. What flavor do you want?" he asks but Donghyuck just shakes his head.

"No, thanks." the younger asks monotonously.

"Come on, Hyuck-ah! It's my treat."

"I said, no, Renjun. And leave me alone!" Donghyuck slight raises his voice.

But Renjun ignores that and smiles widely, "I'm still gonna buy you a smoothie. And you don't have the rights to decline."

He pokes the younger's cheek and the latter rubs it immediately, glaring at him. Renjun giggles before standing up from his seat. Donghyuck shakes his head and continues to eat.

After few minutes, Donghyuck finishes eating at the same time Renjun comes back, holding two strawberry flavored smoothies.

"Here you go, Mr. Lee!" Renjun places the smoothie in front of Donghyuck. "You're welcome." he says before sitting next to him.

"I didn't even thank you." Donghyuck rolls his eyes. "I'm not accepting that."

"Hey!" Renjun pouts, "I told you, you don't have the rights to decline. So, you have to accept that whether you like it or not. Or else, I'm gonna cry."

"Geez, fine. You talk too much." Donghyuck grabs the moistened cup, sipping a bit of the strawberry smoothie.

The older grins and leans forward to the younger. But before his lips touches his cheek, Donghyuck immediately avoids him.

"You're so annoying!" the latter says, creasing his forehead.

"I just want to kiss." Renjun mumbles, grabbing his smoothie.

Renjun waits outside their classroom as Donghyuck organizes his things. He stares at him with heart eyes as the latter zips his bag close and clings it to his shoulder.

When Donghyuck finishes, he walks past the door, totally ignoring the older. Renjun follows him, calling his name. "Hey, Hyuck-ah! Wait for me."

Donghyuck pretends he doesn't hear him and just continue to walk until they arrive at the school exit.
