I look up to see my mom crying.
"Mommy are you okay?" I look into her bright blue eyes.
"Of course darling. Everything's gonna be okay." She wipes away her tears and smiles at me.
"How come I don't have pretty eyes like you and daddy?"
"Because you are very special. More special than any of us combined. Now just lay your head down and go to sleep." She kisses my forehead and leaves the room.
When I open my eyes I'm I see Felix pacing back and forth.
"Wha- what happened?" I ask sitting up.
Felix faces me and his red eyes are dark.
But he doesn't say anything.
"Felix.. What's... What's wrong."
He still doesn't say anything but he hands me a mirror.
I look at it and start crying. I see a cut on my cheek bone and lip. I see a cut on my chest under my collar bone.
I get up and walk to Felix. "What happened..." He looks into my eyes and he hugs me.
"Don't worry about that. Its all taken care of and it won't ever happen again. I won't let it."
We walk downstairs and I see burn marks and frozen things every where... I also see Ian passed out on the couch... Felix ignores it and leads me out the door and to the car.
"Felix What the hell is going on??? What happened in there???" I yell.
He just keeps packing his things.
"Ace?? Are you here.?" Silence..
Felix glances over at me when I say ace.
"Look Felix. I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what's going on." He walks over to me. "Courtney Will you please trust me on this one thing. Please?" His eyes are normal bright red again.
I wonder why he was so angry... Something to do with my brother? I'm not sure... Somethings telling me not to trust him...
"Fine. On one condition. You tell me what happened when you get where we are going." I say.
"Fine."
"You promise?"
He cups his hand on my cheek and kisses me.
"I promise"
A few weeks later Ace finally shows up.
Courtney I told you not to leave
"Since when do you tell me what to do?" I snap
Courtney your presence is stronger now. Where are you?
"Some small town. I don't know the name. I know I signed up for school here. And I will live a normal life." I quietly get out of bed.
You Will live a far from normal life now. They're coming.
I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn around and punch them in the gut.
"Ahh Fuck. Come on Courtney. You do this evertime." Felix groans in pain.
"I'm so sorry I have just been a little on edge because of what Ace told me." I help him up and sit him on the bed. I kiss his cheek. "I'm gonna go to the store."

As I'm walking out of the store someone taps me on the shoulder.
"Are you Courtney?" The person asks. I turn a round to see someone with bright green eyes and dark brown hair. I think I stare a little to long because his face then a bright red.
"Oh um.. Yes. Why?" He takes my hand and leads me to his car in the back of the parking lot near the woods. "I need you to come with me. It's extremely important." The voice sounds familiar but I can't tell from where.
"No you're a complete stranger I will not!" I raise my voice.
"Then I guess it's the hard way" He moves his hand and vines come from the woods and wrap around me so I can't move. "Help! He-" I scream but then my mouth gets covered by vines as well.
"I told you I needed you to come with me but you didn't listen. You silly silly girl." He smiles and then everything goes black.
I wake to a bright white light.
"So Courtney would you like to show us your element?" A man with a deep voice says.
"Yeah I want this light out of my face" I flick my hand and it goes flying. It reveals two men standing in front of me. The one from the parking lot and a short bald man wearing a suit. His eyes are white. The air element is very rare.
"Ahh very good" He smiles. "Justin would you please remove her sunglasses. I want to see her eyes" He walks toward me and I look him in the eyes and make him walk the other direction.
"Ooh very nice." He smiles even bigger.
Stop using your element. This is the danger I warned you about when I told you it wasn't safe. Clear your mind and don't use your element anymore.
I take a deep breathe and clear my mind. Justin walks over and removes my sunglasses. I shut my eyes. "Open your eyes. Now!" The short one yells.
"Fuck you" I snap.
I can feel the vines around me getting tighter. They keep getting tighter but I keep my eyes closed. Some one grabs my face and squeezes "I don't know what kind of game your playing but when I tell you to do something. You do it" I feel a stinging pain in my left cheek. He slapped me.
Open your eyes. You don't need to die from being squished to death.
I open my eyes. The man smiles evily. "What else can you do?"
I look around me. I look like I'm in a old wood cabin in the middle of a jungle.
"Answer me" the vines get tighter. I scream in pain.
"You'll never get anything out of me." I spit on his shoes.
"Very well then. Justin I leave you with her." Then he whispers something in his ear that makes him smile. The man leaves the room and I'm there with Justin. He walks over to me "hey doll face. How are you doing" he grins and gets closer, he kisses my cheek. "Fuck you. Don't touch me." My hands start to shake.
He starts kissing my neck and then whispers in my ear. "There's a camera in here. Play along and I can get you out of here." He goes back to kissing my neck while his hands stay on my waist.
"Now how about a little privacy" He covers the camera with vines and the vines holding me down go away. He walks toward the window and climbs out. "Let's go before they realize it" He motions for me to follow and I do.
