Humans don't actually notice them, and they can go anywhere and hey can disappear from your sight and memory in a blink of an eye. And they do it by their power, meaning to say that they can chose whether you'll remember them or not.
Honestly, they're glad they can do this. They can't bear the fact of going around and hearing insults and judgment left and right.
