You can only change what people know, not what they do

"Wait, so he just... arrived at your bedroom?"

Hungary sighed, but nodded. It was true after all."Yeah, and you know the rest."

Hungary, after staying another night at Austria's, decided to come back to Berlin and check up on Germany. Luckily she left her stuff here, so that wasn't a problem. Right now she was explaining to the German her little 'experience' with a certain boy named Joshua.

"I... don't even know if there's a proper way to react to this."

"There is no proper way to react to a 14 year old boy being in your bedroom, Germany." Hungary said bluntly.

The two were by the front doors, since they just recently called Japan to check up on his progress. He said he was doing as much as he can, but had to talk briefly. With the only explanation being 'I'm at Romania's house right now and I'm pretty sure there's some sound sensory magic in his living room. I have to be quiet or else this won't be a surprise.'

Typical Japan.

Another reason for being by the front door was that Italy, who was still here, wanted to continue on the construction of Germany's house. The sounds of metal against metal, mechanical whirs, clanging, and the occasional earsplitting bash were echoing throughout the mansion. But strangely enough, there were never any voices of the workers. Although neither knew what Italy was doing to Germany's house, both were somewhat afraid of the outcome. The Italian had already noticeably redecorated. The old paintings on the walls were replaced by oil paintings of scenes from the times long before the house was built. Statues suddenly were popping up around the halls, statues that were never there in the first place. And the overall feeling of the house was different. Everything was more red, literally. The new colors of the house were red, gold, and white. There was red tablecloths, red sheets trimmed in gold, and snow white walls. When did all this happen? Does Italy even sleep?

"Forget that he was in your room, how did he manage to get you into a dream state so quickly and supposedly control your dream?" Germany asked. "Do you think it has something to do with magic? Like England's or Romania's?" For the past 30 minutes or so, he's been trying to understand Joshua and what he can do. But nothing he does makes sense. Everything Joshua does defies everything else he does. It was like he had no order, no reason.

The girl shook her head. "I doubt it. I've messed with their magic before and it's not the same. It feels different. I don't think this is exactly magic."

"Then I don't know what it is," Germany confessed. "It doesn't make sense. I thought of everything." He walks over to a nearby window and moves the blood red curtain. He stared at the quiet scene outside, with the guard still at the gate and the long road leading here still deserted. Germany had a worried expression etched on his face, but after a moment, he just sighed and closed the curtain again. Hungary watched her friend's actions, somewhat confused.

"Germany, what's wrong?" She asked, also taking a moment to peek out the window.

"It's just Prussia." Germany answered. "You know he hasn't been home in a few days. I know that he can take care of himself, but I still worry about him. He's still my brother." Germany was always worrisome when it came to his older brother. At least that's what Hungary learned over time. They've always been close; with Prussia always taking care of the younger Germany. But over time, Germany and Prussia's roles changed. Now, they seemed to stand side by side, keeping each other protected and still keeping a mutual respect for one another. Hungary knew that kind of relationship was hard to create and maintain, seeing so many fellow nations fail. She always gave the German brothers a little more respect because of that.
