It was a sunny day when the Fire Nation meeting was about to begin. Of course the Fire Lord Azula was missing. She used to be playing Square with Ty Lee and Mai while all the conferences.
"Your majesty", a general came over to check the queen, "your servants are waiting for you to come".
"Oh gosh, let them wait. I have to win this. With fire, if I have to" and the girls laughted.
"But queen..."
"No more words! Uncle Iroh can deal with the crowd as he usually does."
"But your uncle is with prince Zuko now," explained the general.
"Zuko!" Ty lee screamed. "Oh I so miss him! I haven't seen him since the last gathering."
Azula and Mai: "Oh Ty lee...."
"M..maybe we should go, Zula." Ty lee only tried to stay close to her boyfriend.
"Oh fine! Let's go then..." Azula finally agreed.
"Ugh, this is gonna be boring..." Mai affirmed as usually.
So the meeting was to be about the avatar, their kind of enemy who tried to make everybody live in peace. There was no need of peace in the Fire Nation now as Azula is the new fire lord. Her father passed away two weeks ago in a battle with the avatar and his friends.
"You understand that now you are the boss", said Iroh, Azula and Zuko's uncle, the best firebending teacher and the commander of the Fire Nation's army. "So if you are the boss, you must act like it. You have to take care of your people who...
"Who would do anything I say and even die for me, blah blah.... I heard that before, uncle. I know these things."
"Azula, you will not rule the nation playing Square."
"I was just taking a little break."
"It seems like you're taking 'little' breaks kind of really often... Not like you really work too hard so you would need breaks though."
"I really hope that was ironical, uncle.."
"Yes, yes. Oh look. Here is Zuko, finally."
"Mai, hold Ty lee. She'll jump on him," Azula laughted.
"Zuko!" Ty lee screamed, of course...
"Oh Ty lee! Hello sweetheart," Zuko greeted her with a kiss as he always did.
"I so missed you, my dear."
"I missed you more, pumpkin."
"No, I missed you more."
"No, I missed you more..."
"No, I..."
"Okay okay! You guys are creepy. I mean sweet. I got it! Can we go now?!...." Azula interrupted.
"Ugh...yes boss," Ty lee replied while Mai had a disgusted face watching her and Zuko.
So Azula had to had a "new-fire-lord" speech which would started like this: "In the honor of my parents, mom and dad, blah blah....I swear to protect this kingdom, blah blah...thank you for supporting, have a nice day!" She was not like Mai, but these words were surely inspired from her.
"Thank you, Mai, for your brilliant ideas for my speech," Azula told her before she started.
"Anything to keep me out of empty thoughs.." she replied with relief.
And then Iroh started to greet all the guests and the servants from the Fire Nation and arounds.
"Thank you everybody for being here tonight, to enjoy the presence of some special guests. Ty lee, the circus freak, Mai, the knife girl, my nephew Zuko, and our new fire lord, Azula!"
And then everybody started to clap hands and shout happily and greet her with countless wishes of peace in her time of domination.
"We invite princess Azula to have a speech before her crowning as fire lord," Iroh added.
"Thank you very much, uncle," Azula started. "As far as I'm concerned, I will be crowned queen. Queen of the Fire Nation. Ruler of the most powerful kingdom. The master of the firebending. The dominator of the earth. The.."
"Ok, Zula, we got it. Go.on", Ty lee whispered from the background.
"Right...ugh..umm... So yea...I want to give thanks to my friends who were always here for me. Ty lee, Mai, come here. I couldn't make it without you!"
And again the crowd claped hands and whistled to the two princesses.
"And also I want to thank my brother for taking care of my friends while I was busy with work."
"Haha...work.." Iroh laughted with low voice.
"I heared that, uncle", Azula told him while Zuko came in front.
"And to my uncle, who supported me, taught me everything I know, and gave me life advices as no one else ever did."
This is just what Iroh was waiting for. He was a good man and he loved his grandchildren. Indeed he taught them everything they know, as long as their father was just 'too busy with work'.
"Thank you, princess Azula. It's an honor to me to crown you tonight as my queen."
And with these last words and honoring everyone, Azula honored her parents at last and then Iroh came to her holding a crown in his hands.
"By the power of the great kings before us, with the last words of Ozai spoken before his unpredictable death, with the blessings of the emperiors before us, I, Iroh, brother of the greatest King, Ozai, crown you, princess Azula, his daughter, as the new Fire Lord, according to the wish of your father, and the wish of your nation. May you rule in peace in our times, and may you lead us to more than victory!"
And then all people shouted and claped hands and then bowed low to the new fire queen, Azula, daughter of Ozai.
