Chapter 11.1: Meet her bestfriends

Xander's POV

She ate what I cooked even though it tasted horrible.. She really is weird.. But somehow it made me happy that she ate it.

"So, pinakain mo? Baka naman pinabayaan mo!"

"Eren pwede ba? Kahit layo ako sa babae hindi ko papabayaan magutom 'yong tao."

"So you cooked? Kailan ka pa natuto magluto?"

"I didn't. Panget daw lasa. But she still ate it."

"Still the same Nie.."

"Close ba kayo?"

"H-Huh? N-no. U-uh let's go to class. Tara!"

Ano ba talaga meron ni Eren kay Hannie? He acts so weird.. Or maybe he's cheating on Leslie?! Kahit babae si Leslie naging lapit na sa akin ito at hindi ako papayag na saktan siya ni Eren.

Pero baka naman paranoid lang ako. I know he won't cheat on Leslie.

"Xander!! Xander!!" sigaw ng mga babae na kanina pa nakasunod sa akin. Not more flirting!

"Uh, sino kayo? I don't have time to flirt."

"Urgh wag kang conceited. We want to know where Nie lives."

Nanlaki mata ko.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about," I lied.

"Tss, you can't lie to us. We're her bestfriends. We know everything, from the agreement to the wedding," the girl with brown hair answered.

Just wow, I meet the bestfriends!

So sinabi niya sa iba? Pinagusapan na nga namin na bawal sabihin sa iba. Kaya ayoko nagtitiwala sa mga babae!

I ignored them and walked away.

"Hey! Don't you dare walk out on us!" brown haired girl shouted. I saw the stares of the other girls. Issue na naman ito.

I heard their annoying loud whispers.

"Oh my, how dare she shout at Prince Xander!"

"What a loser!"

"Ang kapal naman ng mukha niya."

This is so annoying! Another thing why I hate girls so much: they are such a bunch of gossipers, hindi nalang matikom ang bibig! Puro daldal!

"Hoy kayong mga nagbubulungan! Lakasan niyo pa kaya! Mga chismosa!" Nanlaki mata ko, Woah she's feisty but a loud mouth.

"Now tell us where she lives. Oh wait, I meant where you both live."

"Why not ask her?" I retorted.

"Uhh Xander, I think you should just answer her before you get her mad," The girl with blonde streaks answered.

"And so? Pake ko b-" Bago ko pa man matapos sasabihin ko naramdaman ko nalang ang matinding sakit sa panga ko. Bwiset! Sinipa ako?!

"Hoy ano ba problema mo ha!" sigaw ko habang pinupunasan ang dugo ko sa may labi.

"Our best friend is sick and we need to visit her. Tell us your address and bring us to your unit. Now."

Hindi na ako nakasagot at nakapalag dahil kitang kita ko na handa na naman manapak itong babaeng ito.

"Okay. Pero pwede ba wag nalang kayo mainggay? I don't want anyone else knowing." Seryoso kong sagot.

"Of course. Why would we even tell the others? It'll only harm our bestfriend. Oh and by the way, I'm Lia and she's Snow." Hindi ko alam pero mangha ako sa dalawang ito, talagang nag-aalala sila para kay Hannie.

I drove us immediately drove us to our condo. I ignored their loud shouts about my fast driving and kept on speeding.

"We're here!" they shouted. Inggay!

I saw the shock in Hannie's face, I wanted to laugh but I'm still pissed at her for telling them.

"Xander?!"

I didn't look at her and walked by pass her.

"Wait lang ha. I'll be back!" I heard her shout at her friends.

I pushed the button that would hide the bedroom and took off my shoes.

"Xander.."

"What?"

"Sorry.."

"Whatever. Go downstairs and blab more about our agreement," I snapped at her.

"Ano ba ha? Ito lang galit ka na agad? Pwede ba? Best friends ko sila! They have the right to know! If you have a bestfriend you'll tell them too! May kaibigan ka naman diba? Diba sinabi mo din sakanila?"

She really is different, lumalaban siya.

Napayuko ako. She has a point.

"Aish, whatever Xander. Ang babaw ng mga dahilan mo magalit. Hindi ko alam bakit ang init ng dugo mo sa akin. Bahala ka nga sa buhay mo."

Before she could walk away I held her wrist. "I'm sorry."
