As I opened the door, Smarty dashed into right and down the hallway. I glanced around cautiously since Smarty left me alone in a very creepy hall. Both sides of the hall smeared with ugly colors, yellow and brown, very little space narrowed that I was afraid of touching the wall or they might would have pulled me in. On the floor I was squishing on, so soft that I thought I would sink right through the carpet. Finally I saw the staircases that led down to the lower floor, while I was about to go down the stairs, something thumped loudly behind me.
My heart was beating so fast, I looked back, and there was a white door, I puzzled; Where did the door came from? A noise came from inside the door again. I flinched and I wrapped my fingers on the door’s knob, there was something behind the door that drew me in.
Turning the knob, the room came in unbelievable huge! On the green wall covered with thousands of sapphires. Sand were everywhere, on the furniture, the floors, and there was a person standing by a enormous window..
I squinted at the unmoving figure as the sun glared in my eyes. I crept closer, trying to not draw any attentions. I saw him in a long, battered dark green robe, swept back by the wind, revealed his bare feet. His blonde hair cropped short, many tiny spikes stood on each tip of his hair. My eyes searched him and noticed a strange black ink on his neck that looked like an some sort of tribal symbol. He was just utterly handsome! I held my breath, his head turned to face me, his eyes showed kindness, so deep blue, just like a ocean. He watched me without saying a word.
“Um, I-I’m sorry for barging in!” I blurted out.
His perfect lips flashed a white smile, “And who are you?”
“Uh no, you see, I was just with Smar-- I mean, Davis. I thought I heard something. Sorry, I‘ll just leave.” I sent him a nervous smile. Why am I babbling like a five years old girl?
He closed his eyes as he heard Davis’s name and nodded, “Ah yes. I have heard so much about you and at last I get to meet you.” His lips hardly moved when he spoke.
I didn’t say anything, I just stood there speechless, his skin, I realized, was covered with shiny scales.
Obviously, he caught me staring at his skin. He smiled, “My name is Ryuu,” his eyes glistened, a dimple played on his left cheek.
Ryuu’s dark green robe fell to the floor, his chest turned into fade blue, then his arms, his legs, then all of his body were turning dark blue. His human ears appeared more longer and frilled. A large sharp horn poked out through his snout. The strange markings on his neck were spreading even bigger, I could feel the air turned as his leathered blue wings propped, stretching out of his back, his scales crackled building up static energy.
“You are….” I whispered, amazed.
“I am the Blue Dragon. And it was really nice meeting you, but I am afraid I’d better get going now.” Ryuu flashed his razor teeth down at me; his glare hardened behind me. Davis sneaked up behind me, his hand on my wrist, I felt him trying to pull me back.
“What’s wrong?” I asked him, giving him a hard time pulling me back, he grunted and let go of me. I stumbled backward, “Jerk.” I muttered under my breath.
Ryuu flapped his huge wings, sent a electricity shot down my spine, the sand raised up from the floor and across the room, some got in my eyes. While rubbing my eyes, Ryuu roared and was gone out of the window instantly.
“What’s your problem with Ryuu, Davis?” I asked bluntly as I stood over the window, watching Ryuu’s dragon body flew down the forest.
“None of your business, now please follow me or would I have to put you on a leash?” Davis growled.
I rolled my eyes, “You are the one who needs a leash.”
