As I walk to school in one of the only sets of clothes I own, I get splashed by mud, laughed at and called names. At least they cannot trip me.

When I finally get to the school, I realize that no one is paying attention to me. I typically get called names when I get here and this silence is pleasant. Until I realize why no one is paying attention to me. There, in the middle of the courtyard, is my brother and his newest slut with a new kid.

Oh great, I say to Sam, He is telling the new kid to stay away from me and telling all these different lies about us.

Yeah. I don't think I can handle this anymore though. After tomorrow I want to leave if our mate isn't here, Sam replies.

I agree Sam, I don't want to be stuck here where we are not appreciated anymore.

I walk towards the main school building to get my things from my locker when Alec walks up to me. "Bitch, why aren't you cleaning up the house for tomorrow? Don't you know what day it is?"

"I came here so that I could at least learn something useful."

"All you need to know is what I will do to you if that house isn't cleaned by the time I get home. And I am not going to tell you when that is," he sneered at me.

Let's just do what he says. I don't like being punished for doing something else again. Sam whispered to me.

But that means showing that he has an effect on us, Sam.

But he does have an effect on us. Can't you see that everyone turned their backs on us once the rogues killed them? That's the way he wants it. He wants us to be totally and utterly alone. I get what Sam is saying.

I bow my head in submission to Alec before going to walk back to the pack house to clean.

I don't like admitting defeat, but with Alec, there is nothing I can really do. I know that I have the strength of an Alpha, but because of the incident with my parents and the rogues that killed them, I am stuck as an omega.

Once I get to the pack house, I get to work on cleaning.
