I woke up to hot sunlight streaming down on me through the open window beside the comfy king sized bed I was laying in. I rolled over slightly and was instantly pulled back against a warm muscly chest. I turned to look up into the gorgeous sleeping face of Asher and smiled contentedly. My hands trailed lightly over his sharp cheekbones and his mouth as I caressed his face carefully. He was so beautiful, especially in sleep, when none of the worries of life plagued him. I yawned loudly and snuggled down against Asher once again as his arms tightened around my waist at the movement. I buried my head in his neck affectionately as I felt his steady breath stirring my hair. I smiled slightly to myself at the tiny little snores he let out. To think, we had a two-hour argument on whether or not he snored...well I guess this confirms I was right. I chuckled lightly to myself as my hands played with his soft hair hesitantly, attempting not to wake him up from his well-deserved slumber after his performance last night. My hands twirled his thick brown hair gently around my fingertips as he sat up slowly, blinking and yawning gently. "Hey Ash" I whispered before kissing him gently on the cheek. He smiled lovingly as he brought me in for a hug, burying his head in my shoulder, inhaling my scent. "Hey minha gata" He mumbled lowly before laying back down beside me, entwining our hands together. He sighed slightly to himself as he looked at me blankly. I frowned raising my eyebrows in confusion at his actions. "Something wrong?' I asked.

He shook his head before replying. "Baby girl, are we okay? Are we dating?" He whispered with a bright scarlet blush erupting over his smooth tanned skin. He was embarrassed and I decided to tease him a little.

"I don't remember anyone asking me to be their girlfriend" I teased and threw back the silky covers so I could stand up. I rubbed my eyes and yawned as I heard Asher moving around from behind me. Strong muscular arms wrapped around my waist tightly from behind and lifted me in the air. I squealed at the touch on my waist and wriggled in his arms playfully.

"Well Miss Greene, would you do the honours of being my girlfriend, my baby, my girl, my one and only, my significant o-" I cut him off, chuckling loudly at the cheesiness of those nicknames and turning to face him so I could place a chaste kiss on his soft pink kissable lips.
"Okay okay, I get it. I'll be your girlfriend Mr De Lavonne" I replied smiling brightly and leaning forward again to pull him in for a deeper more passionate kiss filled with love and lust.
"We've been through a lot haven't we?" He whispered, rubbing my hand with his thumb. I nodded and snuggled deeper into him. I didn't want to move from the position I was currently in; I wanted to stay that way forever where I was safe, warm and comfortable. I sighed deeply in content but was soon brought out of my momentary daydream by a loud knock at the door. I yawned and pulled myself out of Asher's strong hold as he pouted. "I'll be right back!" I laughed and walked briskly out to the door where the person behind it had consistently been knocking for a straight two minutes. I groaned loudly and swung the door open quickly revealing Ellie with an amazingly bright and wide smile gracing her beaming face. I raised my eyebrows. "Ellie...babe, It's like seven in the morning, not to be rude.... but what the hell do you want!" I asked. She just smiled and grabbed a hold of my hand jumping up and down as I stayed in place with my eyebrows raised in confusion. I rolled my eyes. She had officially lost it...she had gone in-

"Xander proposed to me!" She squealed and brought me into a huge bone-crushing hug.

I pulled out of the hug and smiled widely at her. I grabbed a hold of both of her hands and began jumping up and down as she had earlier. Asher came out into the hallway rubbing his eyes and yawning loudly wearing a pair of low hanging boxers. His hair was all mussed up and he looked tired still. "What the fuck is with the squealing, fuck!" He cursed and lifted a hand to try to rectify his hair from the ruined state it was in.

"Gee, looks like you two had a late and...eventful night" Ellie stated with an all-knowing smirk on her mouth. I groaned and walked over to Asher, shoving him back into the bedroom from whence he came with a scarlet blush on my cheeks. I walked back out to Ellie with a sheepish look. "Well, I'm very happy for you!"

She nodded and grabbed a hold of my hand once more. "Cat, that's not all, Will you be my maid of honour?" She asked. I nodded frantically in response and brought her into a hug ,squealing excitedly. We both laughed together as we heard an annoyed shout from the bedroom. "Ouch, better keep grumpy happy if you want to get laid" She retorted and buckled over laughing hard.

"I heard that Ellie Brown, don't worry, I'll let Xander know not to fuck you later!" Came Asher's shout from the bedroom. Tears came to my eyes at the intensity of how hard I was laughing. I brought Ellie into one last hug before we both sat in the living room, catching up like old times.

I can't believe it. It was a few years ago when I had met Asher for the first time properly, a few years since he first went away and now I was lucky enough to have an amazing boyfriend and amazing friends. I sighed softly to myself as Ellie rabbited on about her wedding and exactly how she wanted it to be. I remember as kids when Ellie and me would sit on the doorstep to her house and imagine our perfect weddings. Big bunches of red roses, a beautiful church and an elaborate and breath-taking reception with a huge chocolate sponge cake covered in an intricate icing design...but it was then that I realized I didn't want any of that anymore. I didn't need the flowers, the cake, the grand ballroom for the reception or even the fairy-tale princess dress. All I needed were my friends and my gorgeous bad boy beside me, no matter where we were or what I wore or anything like that. I wanted to spend my life with him, have his children and live out our lives how we wanted, together. I wanted baby Asher's running around and I wanted to grow old with him, and if that wasn't the definition of love, I didn't know what was. I wanted to wake up to him every day and fall asleep to his gorgeous face. I wanted him to be the last thing I see. Ever.

Unfortunately now, we are at the end of Asher and Catelaya's story and over the time I've been writing Temporary Kisses, I've really got attached to all of my characters and I don't want to see them go! I hope you loved this book as much as I did writing it! Thanks Guys
