The Truth Comes Out

The group was together like old times, but this time they sat in silence. Seo-yeon was not meeting Woo-jin's eyes, sitting on the armchair next to him, and Su-jin was also not meeting his eyes, or Ri-an's eyes, sitting next to He-ra. The twins were just looking down. "Should we all go on a trip together before she leaves?" He-ra finally broke the silence between the group. Ri-an looked at Jae-I. "We could go somewhere close by." He suggested, "No, thanks." Jae-I smiled, "I'm good." Seo-yeon finally looked up and saw Woo-jin's eyes on her. She quickly averted his gaze and looked at Jae-I.

"You sure? It could be the last time we see you, and we want to make it memorable, considering all the drama that happened." Seo-yeon spoke up. Jae-I looked at her and nodded her head."I'm sure Seo." Seo-yeon smiled at her nickname. "Let's not make a fuss about it. It's not like I'll be on a different planet or something." Woo-jin kept fidgeting in his spot, keeping his head down. The twins and He-ra noticed. "Hey, Woo-jin," Su-jin called out, leaning towards him, waving his hand in his face to catch his attention. 

Woo-jin looked up, "Yeah?" Seo-yeon sighed. As much as she wanted to give him the silent treatment, she was worried for him. "You all right?" She asked Woo-jin, looked at her, and let out a breath, "Yeah." Seo-yeon saw the look of guilt in his eyes and wondered why he was feeling that, but kept it to herself. Su-jin cleared his throat and looked at Jae-I. "Can you still come back here during breaks?" He asked her. He-ra gasp nodding her head, "Yeah, we need to know that, it's crucial information." He-ra pointed out. Jae-I looked to the side before looking at the two of them. "I wouldn't count on it. I've been told not to return." Jae-I hesitatingly said.

"Man, he really got his vengeance." He-ra snap, Seo-yeon scoffed, crossing her arms, leaning back in the armchair, "Yeah, tell me about it." Woo-jin cleared his throat. Jae-I looked between the girls. "What do you mean?" She asked, "Well, that idiot went and exposed everyone here. Now you have to go to New York." Seo-yeon explained, "Mhm, and now you're being torn away from the five of us. That's so revenge." He-ra said, looking straight at Jae-I. Seo-yeon noticed from the corner of her eye that Woo-jin kept moving around like he was nervous. She looked at Su-jin and saw him noticing it too. They both looked at each other and both wondered what the hell was going on with Woo-jin.

"After everything he's been through, I don't think it's enough." Woo-jin then stood up, walking to the edge of the couch, turning around, and looking at Seo-yeon. She looked back at him, wondering what he had done to get this way. Woo-jin walked out, not looking back. "Sis." Seo-yeon looked at Woo-jin. "Go follow him." Seo-yeon scoffed, "Why should I?" She crossed her arms, looking away from Su-jin. "Please do it, we are all tired of seeing him like this." Seo-yeon looked at her brother, biting her lip. She knew she had to talk to him eventually. She sighed and got up, grabbing her phone. "I'll be back." She walked away, following Woo-jin out.

She saw Woo-jin standing near the lockers. "Woo-jin!" She called out, running over to him. He looked up and saw her coming. "We need to talk." Woo-jin nods, and they both walk out to the side of the school. "What did you do?" Seo-yeon asked, looking straight at him, while he was looking down at his hands in his pockets. "What the hell did you do to Jae-I?" She raised her voice. He finally met her eyes. "I met with her father." He stepped closer to Seo-yeon. "I thought..." He stopped before speaking again. "I thought you wanted her to disappear, so I asked him to send her to New York." Seo-yeon looked at him, her eyes widened with shock. "I said if he didn't, I would tell everyone her secret."

Seo-yeon looked confused. What did he know that she didn't? "What secret are you talking about?" She asked, Woo-jin, looked down "That she was pregnant." She fucking knew it... Well, kinda, that was one of her theories, with one being that she actually moved on from Ri-an, but she was mad that Woo-jin kept this from her. "What?" "With Ri-an's child." Well, no shit, who else would the child's father be? "Oh my God!" She yelled, "How can you be such a jerk?" Seo-yeon was mad, "How could you do that to Jae-I's father?" She grabbed onto his shirt, shaking him around, "How could you do that, huh? How could you do something like that?" She yelled in his face. "It was you!" Woo-jin yelled, his hands grabbing her wrist. "You made it clear I had to choose sides." He looked her straight in the eyes as he said these next words.
