Chapter 2

I was sleeping peacefully until I heard someone scream in my ear.I jumped up and looked at Aj laughing.

"What was that for" I yelled

"I had to wake you up" He say while handing me a plate with pancakes,bacon,and eggs and a cup of orange juice "Is this what you do while I'm gone just sleep all day"

"Why are you still here shouldn't you be at trap house or something" I asked

"I told them I'm not coming today,because today we are spending the day together and they aren't allowed to call me unless its an emergency" He say

"Where you got the breakfast from and what are we doing today" I asked eating a pancake

"I actually made that and we could do anything you wanna do" He say while shrugging his shoulders

"Its taste horrible" I lied

"Now I know that's a lie because girl you love my cooking"

"What ever" I say finishing up the food

"Ok get dress and meet me downstairs" He say taking the empty plate and cup

"What if I wanna lay here all day" I say

"Well then we could just stay here but I was hoping to go to the mall I need more shoes" He said

"Ok we'll go to the mall"

He walked out and I got up and went to brush my teeth.I went and put on a black shirt with some skinny jeans and uggs.I pit my hair in a ponytail.I grabbed my keys and I grabbed my phone and seen I had two missed calls one from my cousin Kyler and the other one from my best friend Imani.I walked downstairs and seen Aj come from the kitchen.I looked and noticed a bulge on the side of his pants and I automatically knew it was his gun.

"Aj are you serious" I asked

"What,is there something wrong with my outfit" He asked,I looked at him like he lost his mind

"Don't bring the gun"

"I'm bringing me gun"

"No,nothing will happen while we're out please"

"The closest you'll get is me leaving it in the car"

"Fine"

He laughed and stuck his tongue out at me and ran out the door I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior.I walked out making sure to lock the door behind me.I went and got in his car.I looked at him and he had a big smile on his face.

"Where's the gun" I asked

"Oh calm down it's in the glove compartment"

He started the car and backed out the driveway. It was a 15 minute drive to the the mall.We got out the car and he grabbed my hand and pulled me to him.

"We don't need a repeat of yesterday" He say

We walked in the mall and we first walked to Forever 21.Usually Aj will complain about how he shouldn't be in a store like this but he's calm.I look through different clothes until I noticed Aj talking to some guy.He passed Aj money and walk away.

"I know you didn't bring drugs to the mall" I whispered to him

"I didn't, he owed me money and since I wasn't going any where near the trap house today I choose for him to meet me here" He whispers back

"So you lied when you said that you wanted to come here to get shoes" I asked

"Nope,I actually am here to get shoes because after we finish in here we're going to Footlocker"
