Prologue

My name is Claire Anderson I lived in the hood all my life.My dad is off doing lord knows what My mom does drugs and doesn't pay much attention to me.I struggled with everything but now I get what ever I want because of my boyfriend Aj, he's a big drug lord

Aj is 23 while I'm 17.I moved in with Aj around 15.My mom didn't care cause she believed all I was good for was laying on my back,but little do she know I'm still a virgin.I stopped going to school cause Aj didn't want me going. I'm home alone while Aj is probably in the streets.

He has his own gang.He tries to keep me away

from it.He taught me how to shoot but only for "self-defense".He doesn't allow me to smoke but I still do it anyway.Its about 6 in the afternoon and Aj has been out since 8 this morning.My phone started ringing I looked and seen a picture of me and Aj pop up on the screen.On the third ring I picked up the phone.

"Hello,how can I help you" I say sarcastically

"What took you forever to answer the phone" Aj asked

"I wasn't near the phone"

"What ever just go check my safe and tell me how much is in there" He said

"You come do it yourself,you don't have a maid" I say

"Stop trying me and do what I told you to"

"No" I said hanging up in his face I don't care if he is mad.He been out in these streets and not once did he care to call me.After 15 minutes I heard the front door open and get slammed shut.I'm sitting in the kitchen eating cookie 'n' creme ice cream,Aj walked in the kitchen and stood right in front of me.He stared down at me while I just ignored him and finished my ice cream.I put the bowl in the sink and looked at Aj who was staring back at me.If looks can kill I'll be 12 feet under.I just looked at him.I hope he didn't think him glaring at me would have an effect on me.

"What is your problem" He asked me

"You're my problem bitch" I say

"You better watch how you talk to me" Aj said stepping closer to me

"You not my daddy so go fuck yourself" I say walking pass him,I sat down at the table

"I'm gonna let this slide cause obliviously its that time of the month" He say while getting a water bottle

"Actually no it's cause you didn't call me until you needed something" I say

"Wait you mad at me cause I didn't call you" He shouted

"I'm not mad but obviously you are" I say rolling my eyes

"Claire don't try me right now because you are pissing me off"

"You don't scare me so I don't care" I say

"Why are you trying me"Aj say

"Cause obviously you forgot I was here" I said

"How?"

"You out here playing around with these hoes and you forgot I was in here" I say

"Don't you fucking start cause I was out trying to make that deal with the gang across town so I didn't have time to check up on you and if you haven't noticed I dropped every hoe for you even when you not giving me none" He shouted I just rolled my eyes "Can we go one day without arguing"

"I don't care" I say getting up "I'm gonna go lay down"

"What ever" He said

I went upstairs and took a quick shower after I got out I put on black shorts and a sports bra.I get cozy in the bed and then Aj walked in
