"Message from: Lucas." I stared at the phone for 2 seconds then picked it up, reading the text that was sent 'seconds ago'.
"Hannahh first day of 9th grade! ARE YOU FREAKING HAPPY BECAUSE I AM FREAKING HAPPY" I groaned at my best friends grammar.
I replied, "Lucas, please, (I AM REALLY BEGGING YOU HERE) USE PROPER GRAMMAR OR YOU SHALL DIE IN FREAKING HELL FIRE. Also, you should know, I am never EVER happy." The next message was instantaneous like he knew what I was gonna say.
"Yeah, yeah... My grammar and your depression. Magically tied. OHHH BTW! (hehe slang4u) I am gonna meet you at the bus stop. NO IF, ANDS, OR BUTS!" I squinted at the message for what felt like hours. I finally sighed and finished putting on my clothes.
