He may very well, never know the weight of his words to her. She didn't care nor bothered if he will ever realize it. At that moment of silence, in the dark room filled with instrument where he took her, she felt a seed inside her sprout. An unspoken emotion, hope. Maybe, just maybe there is still a chance to see the moon in a different glint.
"Seat wherever you like." he said while pushing the upright piano to the large window. He sat down to the chair and began to stretch his hands. He looked up and closed his eyes. He inhaled while smiling and looked back at Claire who was watching him.
"Listen to me, Claire. Listen." He said.
The sound that enveloped the room was gentle sweet yet melancholic. She saw the vast sea in his notes, the silent waves gently crashing with rocks and the salty wind that carried her burden away from her heart. It was majestic with a tinge of loneliness. She watched his fingers gracefully played with the keys as if he knew every sound it could make, every song it played. He was yet again smiling while his eyes closed clearly enjoying the moment. Ah, this is what it is to be lost. She thought.
As she listened intently, she learned things about him she never thought she would. It was different than talking. It's as if he was allowing her to experience, to feel what he felt, to hear what his emotions says and what he have been through. She can't quite put it through words but it was compelling. He never uttered a word but she understood him in a way others could not. He too was also a human with mistakes, scars, hate, but he had something much more she can't quite describe, but it's in him. Maybe it's the ability to enchant people, be it, his wild personality or his silent cries.
The music stopped. He looked at her with a grin.
"You, just heard an award winning play by the most anticipated artist of this generation." He said with a triumphant tone.
She snorted.
Ludwig eyes widen with surprised then he laugh loudly. "Oh my gosh. You just freaking snorted! Is that how you laugh?"
"No. Who said I was laughing? I was only adhering how absurd your self-proclamation was. You're not even on par with Fibocelli."
"That prick? Oh come on I beat the shit out of that turd." He stated with pride.
"You made a mistake at dun dun" Claire made a pressing gesture with her hand.
"WHAT'S DUN DUN?" Ludwig laughed hard. He rested his head at the keys to hide his face to Claire.
"Shut up, not everyone was paying attention to music class." She pressed one of the black key rapidly.
"Here" Ludwig grabbed her hand and placed it to the keys correctly, he placed his fingers atop of hers and pressed it with hers.
They stayed at the music room until the sun rose up. Exchanging stories by playing, by teaching. In the very least they both knew that they had little secrets of each other they held inside them.
