The picture is of the backpack her gym takes to practice and comps that has her name on it. The video is of the cheer hair.
Today is the competition. I get up at 7:45. I go downstairs and eat a bowl of fruity cheerios. My mom and brothers left at 7:30 for something. I then go upstairs to get ready.
I plug in my flat iron and brush my teeth. After I brush my teeth I put on whitening strips. I then straighten my hair. I put on my uniform now so I don't mess up my hair or get make up on it. I flip my head down and grab my hair to put in to the ponytail. I then brush it back to make it tighter. I then put the hair tie in and put on my bow. I flip my hair over the bow. I grab my teasing comb, section off a section and tease near the bow. This gives my hair height.
I move on to make up. I put on foundation, blush, and highlighter. I then put on sliver and black eye shadow and do black winged eye liner. Trust me it's a lot of make up. I finally finish. I remove the whitening strips and put on red lipstick.
I then head downstairs. I grab my cheer shoes on put them in my backpack with my backup makeup bag. I also put my cheer blanket in there. I grab some sour patch kids and Pixy Stixs and put them in. I also grab some quest protein bars. I grab my water bottles and put them in their pockets. my phone cable and charger are already in there along with my headphones. I put on my warm up jacket and pants. I grab my phone and wrist-lit and put them in my bag. I put on my Bear Paws. The doorbell rings. Right on time.
I open the door to see a smiling a smiling Ally. "Hey Liz, do you like my hair."
Ally had her hair in a ponytail. Her ponytail was straight and teased like mine. She wore the same makeup. The only difference was my uniform. Our team is in the senior division so we got half top uniforms.
"Yeah, it is cute." I say.
We walk to her moms car. It is a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country minivan. It has a TV in it. Her car is decorated with cheer stuff. It says cheer mom and has a sticker for our gym. Ally and I sit in the back row. I put the seat in front of me down and put my feet on it. Colton sits in front of Ally who is on my right. We pull out of my street on start the trip yo the comp. The drive is about an hour. It is a close comp. It is being at the convention center in the city. It is an all day comp. Our warm up is at 11:40. We don't compete until 12:00 and the heat takes about an hour and twenty minutes. Then a twenty minute award ceremony.
We talk a bit I play on my phone, Colton plays on his, and Ally watches an American Girl movie. We arrive at the parking garage at 10:09. We grab our bags and walk a few yards to the building. We wait in the waiting area reserved for Ally's team. Her warm up is at 10:45 but they had to be their for the first few teams. Their heat starts at 10:30. At 10:25 Colton, Ms.Spears, and I go talk our seats. We get comfy. My heat doesn't start till 12:20.
At 10:30 Ally's team meets up to the team mom and heads to the the meet up spot near the warm up room. The warm up room is where the teams practice and warm up before performing.
The next eight teams are good. Ally's team is great though. They could win if they hit.
"Please welcome to the stage Cheer Strike All Stars Emerald Explosion!"
Ally's team comes running on stage waving. The get into position and wait for the music to start.
