Chapter 6

ˈ‧₊°

A wedding dress is a must have when it comes to weddings. It is something that has meaning and symbolize purity. Most brides keep their gowns in hopes that one day, maybe, their daughter will wear it for their wedding. But mostly because it cost a damn lot of money.

Picking a wedding dress is much fun they say, I guess I could say the same. Destiny, Laura, Rhiannon, and Lacey, her bridesmaids and I were at this fancy wedding dress shop. I don't remember the name because it was a name I could not pronounce and it was to damn long.

Calum also went with us so Destiny could have a boy opinion on the dress as well. "So what did you have in mind?" I ask as we walk into the store. As soon as we step into the store, white dresses was placed everywhere I looked.

"Mermaid lace." Destiny says and I nod. We walk further into the store and a lady who looks to be in her 30's greets up. "Hello, how can I help you?" She says in an overly friendly voice.

"Well I'm here for a wedding dress." Destiny says in a 'well-this-is-a-wedding-dress-store-so-a-wedding-dress-duh' tone. "This way then." The lady smiles and lead us towards the back of the store.

"Do you have a specific design or?" The lady ask. "A mermaid dress and maybe lace." We all take a seat in the chairs that is lined up against the wall.

"Okay, I'll go find you the perfect dress." She flash us a big smile and disappear into the back where I'm guessing they keep all of the dresses.

"So when are we going to Australia?" Laura, Destiny's younger sister ask and Rhiannon, one of Destiny's best friend nod. "Next four months." Destiny and Ashton have decided that they want to get married in Australia, I'm very excited to be going to Australia but it's going to be difficult for me with all my studying and stuff. I just hope I'll be able to go, I mean this is my best friend for 14 years wedding so I have to make it.

"What are you thinking about?" A deep and thick accent says in my ear. I turn my head to see Calum only centimeters away from my face. My breath hitch in my throat as I realize exactly how close we are.

"The wedding and college." I fiddle with the end of my maroon jumper. "Mmm, I see." Calum says and I nod. "So how's college, little college girl?" I laugh and look up at him through my lashes. "Hard, and tiring." I sigh. College is hard but I'm getting through, I only have a couple more mouths until I get my art degree.

"Sounds boring." Calum tease and sticks out his tongue. I laugh and shake my head.

"Wow, that is extremely beautiful." Lacey says in aw. It was true, this dress was beautiful, it hug around Destiny's curve perfectly and wasn't too over the top just like how Destiny wanted it.

"I like it." Calum says with a big grin. "Yeah, me too." Destiny looks so happy in this dress. Her lips are in a big smile and she looks beautiful may I add. "Jen?" I perk up at the mention of my nickname. "Do you like it?" I smile and nod.

"I love it."

The smile on Destiny face was so big I couldn't help but smile myself. The wedding dress was a mermaid dress just like how Destiny wanted and it was also lace. It was long sleeve and suite Destiny perfectly.

"This is the one then." Destiny says and we all nod in agreement.

Destiny changes back into her regular clothes and pay for the dress before we leave to another store to try on the bridesmaid dresses. We decide to walk to the next store because it was just right around the corner.

As we enter the store, Calum's phone ring. "Hello?" We all turn our attention to Calum.

"Yeah. We're at another store for the other dresses." Calum says into the phone. "Okay." He mumbles. "It's down the street." Calum says before hanging up his phone.

"Luke is coming over." My heart flutter at the mention of Luke's name for some odd reason. "Okay, did they all get their tux?" Destiny ask and Calum nod. We all walk further into the store and ask the lady at the front desk for the dresses. Destiny said that she already picked out the dresses so all we had to do was try them on.

The lady comes back later with four dresses in her hands. "These are the dresses you asked for." The lady that look to be no older than me smiles and hands Destiny the dresses. "Thank you." She takes the dresses and looks through them before handing it out.

"Go, go try them on!" Destiny push us into the dressing room and close the curtains.

I examine the dress, it was a in a dark shade of purple and had a sweetheart neckline. Nice job, Destiny. I peak off all my clothes and slip on the dress, it ends right above my knees and is flared.

"Come out when you guys are done." Destiny says behind the curtains.

I pull the curtain open and freeze once I see Luke sitting on one of the couch with his hands behind his head. He is dressed in a black tee with his black skinny jeans and a snapback. His tattoos are visible and it amaze me at how good he looks. Once he sees me he smirks and send a wink my way.
