Chapter 12

"Stay away from him, he's bad news."
I keep replaying that sentence in my head, that's the only thing I could think about all day today. No matter what I do, my mind always drift back to the thought of Luke being bad news.
Anyone would think that Luke is trouble and nothing but a boy covered in tattoos, and that's somewhat right but I don't believe so. There's something more to him, it's not what's on the outside its what's on the inside that counts. Cliché, I know but never judge a book by its cover I guess. There's always more to a person than their appearance.
"Hey, Jenna." A voice says from behind me making my head turn to look at the person. Calum stands there holding two coffee cups in each hand, a lazy smile plastered on his lips. He has his usual band tee and black skinny jeans with a beanie sitting on top of his head. "Oh hi." I give him a warm smile.
"Mind if I sit?" He points to the chair next to me and I instantly nod. "No go ahead ." Calum smiles and pulls out the chair.
"I got this for you." He slides one of the coffee cup over to me and I gladly take it. "Thanks, I'll pay you back." I bring the hot coffee cup to my lips and the bitter taste of the coffee hits my tongue. "That's not necessary." Calum waves me off.
"You sure?"
"Well... You can go to lunch with me in return..." A blush creeps up on his cheeks and I just found that so cute. Wait, is he asking me out on a date? But what about Luke, but why should I care what he thinks?
"So like a date?" Calum doesn't look at me but at his coffee instead. "Y-yeah, like a date." He finally looks up at me threw his eyelashes and has a sly smile. He is like a cute puppy that you just want to cuddle and with those eyes of his, how could I say no?
"Yeah, yeah." I nod and move my gaze to the floor with a smile on my face.

Calum: Lunch date today? ;)
Jenna: Sounds good to me
Looks like Calum and I are going on our 'lunch date' today. I was quite excited actually but then again I kind of feel guilty. But why do I feel guilty?
It was half past 11, that leaves me almost 30 minutes to get ready. I kept my shirt that I am wearing but change out of my pajama short. Slipping on a pair of dark wash jean and a jacket, I was almost ready to leave. My hair is still in its pony tail that I slept on so I take it down and brush through it before braiding it to the side. I was honestly too lazy to do anything fancy with my hair and plus, it was only Calum.
My face is clear from any heavy make up. I wasn't the type of girl to go all out with make up, I'm a simple girl really. Eyeliner and mascara and I'm ready to go!
A knock comes from downstairs and I instantly know it's Calum. Grabbing my phone from its changer, I rush downstairs.
"Hey." He greets, he was in his usual black skinny jeans with a band tee, his usual outfit.
"Hi." I smile and close my door. "You look nice." Calum blushes and move his gaze to the floor.
"Thanks, you don't look to bad yourself." I smile.

Calum took me to this little restaurant down the street from my favorite book store. I got a sandwich and a cup of lemonade. We sat outside the little restaurant because the weather was beautiful.
"Are you going to be able to go to Austrialla for Ashtons wedding?" I take a bite out of my sandwich, it was delicious I'll have to come here more often. "Not quite sure but I'll figure something out, I'm also flying out to visit my mom soon so there's a lot going on..." Calum nods his head.
"When are you going?"
"Soon... Hopefully." I wasn't quit sure when I plan to go but it has to be soon.
"Mmm, how is she by the way?" He ask and I smile. "She's doing fine, thanks for asking."
We soon finish our food and before I knew it, it was 2 in the afternoon. Calum and I spent 2 hours together, it was nice spending my lunch with him. I don't go out much so this was really fun.
"Well, I should get going now. Thanks for lunch." I flash Calum a smile and stand up from my chair. "I'll drop you off." Calum offers but I wave him off. "Oh its fine, I was going to go to the book store and take a cab home after." I say and look towards the book store but my eyes drift to Luke in front of the book store, he was looking my way and there was no doubt that he saw Calum and I sitting down together.
"Are you sure?"
"Positive." I give him a reasuring smile before he nods and head off in his car.
I cautiously make my way over to Luke. He was leaning against a lamp post with a cigaret handing from his mouth. He wasn't wearing his usual band tees or a black shirt but a button up instead. The first two buttons was unbutton showing off his tattoos on his neck perfectly. But what caught me off guard was his glasses that were sitting on his perfectly shaped face.
"Luke." My palms starts to sweat and I feel nervous, maybe it was the way he looked. He looks intimidating, scary even.
"Jenna." He takes a drag from his smoke before putting it out. I notice how good he looks with glasses and who could ever guess that someone could look so attractive when they're not even doing anything.
"What were you doing with Calum?" He ask firmly.
