RACHEL-
I woke up the next morning feeling better then when I went to bed, mentally that is. Physically, I felt like I had been hit by a train. I coughed clutching my stomach in pain. My hair was a mess and my eyes were red and puffy. I only got a few hours of sleep so I also had a massive headache. I rubbed my nose standing up. Halfway through the night I moved into my own bed when I knew I was sick. I didn’t want Justin to feel as crappy as me. I slipped into some clothes and went into the kitchen for something to drink. I was not feeling red bull today, but that was all we had. Red bull and hot pockets, plus no medicine at all. I felt my head, it was hot to me, but I had no way of telling if I was feverish. I walked out of the kitchen and out of the room to Julie’s room. It was five in the morning but I heard the TV on in her room. I knocked.
“Julie, its Rachel.” I croaked. She opened the door and gave me one look over.
“Urg, you are so sick.” She said holding a hand up to my forehead. “No fever.” She said.
“I need juice and medicine. Do you think we could go to like a grocery store?”
“I don’t know if they have one in the hotel.”
“Of course not here. Maybe just a pharmacy, I saw a Walgreens when we were first coming here. I need to get things for the guys anyway. Maid service here sucks, they like don’t do anything.”
“That’s because we requested that no one comes into your room, otherwise they might bother you. So they don’t restock anything.” Julie explained.
“I knew that.” I mumbled then went into a coughing fit.
“Let me just go tell Kenny where we are going.”
“I should probably leave Justin a note.” I said, and headed back into the room. I grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled down a note.
Hey babe, I’m not feeling well so Julie is taking me to Walgreen’s to buy some juice and medicine. I’ll also pick up some snacks and stuff for the room. See you when I get back. Xoxo ~Rachel.
I put the piece of paper on the bedside table and grabbed my handbag. I walked out of the room and met Julie in the hallway.
“It is a twenty-four hour one right?” She asked as we got in the elevator. I coughed and nodded. She patted my back. “Poor Rachel.” She said.
“It just came on.” I croaked. “No warning at all.”

“I need to get soda.” I said walking to the drink aisle again.
“Here, knock this back.” Julie said handing me a pill. I opened my water bottle and downed the water and pill.
“Okay, so I have chips, granola bars, fruit, candy, water, soda.” I checked off my mental list as I put a two liter bottle of soda in my shopping cart. I coughed.
“Cough drops.” Julie said leaving me to go back in the medicine aisle.
“Milk.” I said as Julie came back. I grabbed a carton of milk.
“Anything else?”
“Nope.”
“Why do you need milk?”
“Warm milk feels good on a sore throat.” I explained, heading toward the check out. I pulled up my hood and put on my sunglasses, holding out my card and letting the girl check all my items. I closed my eyes, I am so tired. Once she was done, it felt like she took forever, she gave me a strange look.
“What?” I croaked like a spaz.
“Sorry.” She mumbled. Julie gave me a look for being short with her. I rolled my eyes behind my sunglasses. “Um, sorry but are you Rachel Marie?” she asked. I sighed. “You are?!” she screamed.
“I didn’t confirm or deny that statement.” I said.
“Hey listen, I don’t know if you saw the picture of Justin and I-“I cut her off.
“That was you?!” I snapped. This girl was pretty, she looked older than me, but why was she at our hotel. “Why were you at the hotel?” I asked, my curiosity getting the best of me.
“My cousin was staying there.” Now that I knew I was going to get back to the point. “Please, I’m sorry about the thing with Justin. I just became a crazed fan.” She looked so innocent.
“Only an insane fan would try to pull that shit.” I sneered. “You must have known he had a girlfriend if you are such a fan.” She nodded her head.
“I didn’t mean to.”
“What is up with everyone saying that?!” I screamed. “I don’t care if you meant to or not the point is you did!” Her and Ryan ‘I didn’t mean to.’ They sound like little kids. She looked upset. Good.
“Listen. I really feel terrible about it.”
“Okay.” I said.
“I am!” She screamed.
“Great!” I screamed back. We were fighting like crazy people in public. I grabbed my bags and Julie and I headed out. I took a deep breath and we got in the car and headed back to the hotel.

I walked into the room and all the guys were up. I walked straight into the kitchen and put the stuff anyway. Justin came in. “How do you feel?”
“Like a turd.” I said, turning around. Justin stepped closer. “Back up babe.” I said coughing. “I don’t want you to get sick too.” Justin laughed.
“Then we could be sick together.” He said closing the space between us.
“Justin.” I coughed. He smiled, but his face dropped.
“You look so sad when you’re sick.”
“I could try to be happy.” I said putting on a smile. He looked into my eyes.
“I’m sorry about Ryan yesterday, he wasn’t thinking.” Justin said. My heart dropped, Ryan was the last thing I wanted to talk about. I started to cough again Justin leaned in to kiss me and I back up, completely pressed against the fridge. He stepped forward again, placing his hands on either side of me on the fridge.
“Justin, I swear, I don’t want to get you sick.” I said looking up at his beautiful brown eyes. Just then Chaz walked in.
“Mmhm, what’s going on in here?” Chaz asked with a smirk, Justin turned to look at him and I ducked out of the space under his arm. I smiled and walked back to the TV. I sat down on the floor away from Ryan. He was watching some show that I had never seen before and I just sat a watched. Then arms wrapped around my neck, I turned to look right at Justin, he kissed me quickly.
“Urg, to you want to be sick?” I croaked.
“No, I’ve just been dying to kiss you.” He said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes. Then Raisin came over and yipped at me.
“I picked her up and set her on the couch. She panted and looked content. Then my phone rang. I took a quick look at it. Jessica Calling… I answered.
“Hey hun.” She said.
“Hey.”
“Ooo, you sound sick.”
“Yeah. I am.” I croaked.
“Well dear, maybe this news will make you feel better.”
“What?”
“I’m coming to visit you!”
“Oh my gosh, really?!” I croak/screamed.
“Yup, I’ll be there for two weeks!”
“Yay! What about Italy?”
“I’m done, so vacation here I come!”
“I can’t wait to see you!”
“Same here!” We talked a little longer then she had to hang up to catch a plane. My headache had increased to killing me. I groaned.
“I’m taking a nap.” I said climbing into my bed. I slowly drifted away.
