May 1968

At John's parents' house were loads of people. There was a wedding afterparty. There was John's family, his mum and stepfather, grandma and others, then there was Pattie's family, that counted her cousin Katie and her parents, Katie also brought some of her friends that nobody known. Pattie's parents were not here, they died shortly after she was born. Of course, there was rest of the band- Pete, Roger and Keith, as best men. Pattie was talking with Queenie- John's mother. She wore a simple, but charming white dress with three-quarter lace sleeves. The dress had a beautiful long skirt and a velvet bodice with slight neck. Her growing belly was obvious. Pattie had her hair normaly loose, she also wore white pumps with small heel. When Queenie had to left to the kitchen, Pattie decided to find John and talk to him a bit. She didn't find him anywhere in the house, so she went on the street with a thought he probably went here to have a cigarette. He really was standing here, leaning against the wall in the suit with his tie off. When he saw her, he smiled widely and waved with his hand at her to join him. She came to him and leaned half against the wall and half against John's arm.

"Hard day, eh?"  she said and chuckled. John nodded and smiled widely. "Took us a looong time, did it.."

"Yeah. Guess you meant 'took you' like took me, you know what I mean...cigar? Ooh, I forgot, you can't smoke, aaahh.." he said, looked to Pattie's lustful eyes set at the cigarette in his mouth and gave her his widest grin. She sighed.

"I hate you, you know it." she responded and chuckled again.

"Do you realize we're married now? Like, you're my wife. My wife." John pointed out after minute of silence and smacked after last sentence.

"Yeah, no more girls, no more booze, pal, freedom is over! Poof!" Pattie said and demonstrated to John how his dreams are flying away and disappearing, then she nudged him with her elbow.

"Said who?" he laughed and grinned at Pattie cheekily.

"You bastard." she laughed and slapped him to the stomach.

"And besides this, now I've got better freedom than ever." John said after he stopped laughing at his own joke.

"How come?" Pattie asked.

"Well, now I can do that..." he said and kissed her, "...and nobody can blame me for anything."

"Johnny, Um, sorry for destroying your ideas again, but if you weren't afraid that I would snap your head, you could do that before." she chuckled.

"Yeah, but now I'm sure that nobody can say to me 'What are you doing, kissing some stranger..'. See?" he said and kissed her again.

"Nobody...will...come...to...stop...me..'cause...you...are...mine...now..." John said between kisses. "Technically, I can do whatever I want with you." he said when he leaned away and smiled at Pattie widely.

"Yep. But, practically, it's me who can do everything." she responsed and ran down his chest to his stomach and there she stopped her hand. "It's just my decision if I will use it," she said and moved with her hand just a tiny bit down, "or not." she finished and smiled at open-mouthed John.

"I think we should go, after all it's our party, isn't it." she said, grinning. "Come on, Queenie is certainly looking for us." She grabbed John's hand and dragged him to the house. He just muttered something like 'What heartless and vicious animal did I married' and grinned.

"The one that will make you suffer, 'cause that's just beggining, darling." Pattie laughed, turned at smiling John and kissed him longly.
