The Neighbour Chapter 17

Hayes' POV

I woke but with Madison no longer wrapped in my arms. I looked under the sheets realizing I had no clothes on whatsoever. I rolled over to where my phone was and there was a message from Madison "Hey baby, I had to leave but hope to see you soon. Thanks for the amazing night. Xoxo -M" Wow I can't believe that happened. I don't remember anything of last night besides when Madison and I were on the dance floor and when we came up here and did it. The alcohol washed my brain. I honestly totally forgot about the plans last night. If Madison hadn't made a move and wanted to dance, Nash and her would have still be together. So that means that Madison still does have feelings for me. My thoughts got interrupted when Nash came storming into the room. "Oh shit Nash I'm so sorry" I said lying to him. I wasn't sorry at all. This is what I planned and she picked me so its all good now. My work is done. "Don't worry about it I already talked yo Madison before she left earlier" He said sitting on the bed. The blanket was covering me from my waste down since I had not even boxers on. "Here's whats going down. He explained the whole choosing who thing and what time and where we both will be. Damn, here I am thinking she already chose me and forgot about Nash but clearly not. "Okay man. Whats fair is fair" I said. "And in the end, whoever she chooses shouldn't matter to us. It shouldn't effect our friendship. Were brothers and just because of a girl I will not be loosing you. So agree that if she picks me you will be okay with it and let us be. And if she chooses you I will agree on that as well" He was serious about this. It made me feel kind of bad actually. I could tell that my brother is heart broken, he must've been falling in love with her. Unless he already is involve with her. "I agree I will let you two be if she picks you" I say as he repeats the same thing. "Im going to head home now, see you later buddy" he said walking out of the room. I grabbed my clothes and put them on. I decided to shower and get the stench of alcohol off of me. It took me about an hour to shower. I was actually surprised that I wasn't hung over. My head was totally fine along with I wasn't puking. I asked to burrow Jack G's car to run to the floral shop. I got Madison's favourite flowers. A bouquet of pink lillies. By the time I came home It was only 4pm. I went to the spare room where Madison and I stayed in and sat on the bed. I was scrolling through my phone until it started to vibrate. It was a call from Jordan. "Hello"I say "Hey, so what happened, did the plan work?" She asks. I told her the whole story about what happened and what will be happening soon when she makes her decision. " Wow good job Hayes!" I didn't think she would congratulate me. "Thank you" I laughed "But wow, I wish you luck. Even if she doesn't choose you just know you're an amazing guy and deserve the world. You should be with the one you love and if she doesn't realize that than maybe she's the wrong one. But i have to go Hayes, I wish you luck! Bye." before I got time to respond on what she just said she hung up. Time felt like it was going by as slow as possible. *Skip the time. Its 9:50pm* I sat at the kitchen table near the door with the flowers hoping Madison would walk in any minute. It was now 10:36pm. I guess that meant she chose Nash. I threw the flowers in the garbage by 11pm and walked upstairs. I sat in the room balling my eyes out. The girl I love chose my brother over me 

Nash's POV

It was 10:30pm. Madison still wasn't here, I thought maybe she was just a little late. Although she lived right next to me. Time flew by and it was already 11pm. I guess that meant she chose Hayes.
