Chapter 4: Nothing But Her

Elijah's P.O.V.

I went for a walk the night she got here. Melanie. I saw her driving down the road with her mom. She was in the passenger side, so I could see her easily. I ran in wolf form next to the car. Of course, though, in the woods.

When she reached her house, I wasn't even panting. I was, at least, a little sore on the paws. Slapping them on twigs, thornes and other things, hurts.

She got out of the car and stretched. When she did this her shirt lifted up and I could see her stomach. She had a six pack, like me. But that wasn't the only thing I noticed. I saw her long red hair was straightened, her piercing brown eyes held emotion, and she was somewhere in between 6ft. And 4 in. or 6ft. And 8 in.

I was about to go say hi, when he came out.

Tristen Gray, my nemises of an Alpha. He was soon to be Alpha of my apposing pack. I hated him. He thinks he owns everything. He got Elizabeth Turner, then broke her heart to the point of no repair. He got the bigger land mass, and he thought he was going to get Melanie. Well not this time.

He walked up and scared her so bad that she dropped her clothes bag. Her bras, underwear and shirts fell all over his feet.

I growled when he bent down and started to pick her stuff up.

I couldn't hear what they were talking about, but I'm guessing it went something like this?

Mel : Hey, what the heck are you doing?"

Tristen : "Um, well being a gentleman."

And ON and ON.

When he finally left, her mother had joined them and Melanie called him a maybe friend. YES A MAYBE FRIEND!!

When she went in side I followed her around the side of the house, to her room. She was on the bottom floor in the master suit. Why she got the master, I had no idea?

I wait outside till she turns her lights off, then I slip inside.

I know creeper. But before you get mad, let me tell you that I had to. It felt like if I didn't, I would die of depression.

When I was inside I knelt beside her bed and placed my hand on her cheek. Tingles shot up my arm in an instant. I stumble back and stare at her shocked.

'No wonder why I felt I needed her. She's my mate.' I think.

I walk back to her and place my hand on her arm. I love those stupid tingles in my hand! I lay my head down and shut my eyes.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

When I wake up, the sun is just touching the herizon. I curse myself for staying here all night. I jump up and out the window, but not till I give my mate a kiss on the forehead.

I shift into my grey, black, and brown wolf. I'm the only Alpha male that has ever had three colors on its fur. I'm one of a kind!

I run down the road as quickly as possible. I make it to my house and shift into my human self. I climb into my room and change for school.

---------------------------------------------

When I get to school, late, I hear Tristen's name on the P.A. system.

'Good he needs to get in trouble more often.' I growl.

I rush to my locker and grab my books for Calculus, P.E. , Socials, Science, Computers and Kung Fu. Yes they're books for P.E. and Kung Fu.

As I rush to my first class, Socials, I see Tristen infront of me. With his arm around my mate.

I growl at him, a warning growl.

He stopped walking but my mate kept walking till he pulled her back. She yells out in pain.

"OW!" She yells.

I growl and step closer. This time I could feel myself ready to shift and rip his throat out. I was holding on by a string.

"Get away from her, Tristen. She's mine!" I shout.

A growl comes from my throat as he pulls her closer to him. She whimpers in pain, and my eyes soften. I feel her pain, and can tell she dislocated her shoulder. I take a step closer and so does she, or tries. Tristen holds on tighter.

"Tristen, let go. Your hurting me." She says.

That sure snapped him out of his trance.

He looks down at her with tenderness in his eyes.

"Melanie, what hurts?" Tristen asks.

"Her shoulder is dislocated." I answer.

Tristen growls at me. Melanie just takes a step towards me.

"Hi! I'm Melanie." She says. She puts her hand out and I shake it.

The tingles are back, and she feels them to. A warm smile touches her lips just before Tristen pulls her back.

"Melanie, we don't talk to him. He's not nice." Tristen says.

"Don't talk to her like she's a kid! And she's my mate!" I say.

Tristen's eyes widen.

"No. She's mine." Tristen says.

Oh crap! This isn't good. It's never happened. She's two Alpha's mate.

"What do we do?" Tristen asks.

"We let her deside." I say.

We both look at her...
