Mel's P.O.V.
It was a strange feeling, having your water break. First off, you felt calm and steady... Then the contractions started.
"ELIJAH DRIVE FASTER!" I screamed at my poor mate. Elijah's hands were griping the steering wheel so hard his knuckles were white. His light brown hair, that's getting darker eachday, is flown all over his hand from just waking up.
"I'm sorry Melanie. I'm driving as fast as I can." Elijah apologizes.
"Well it's not fast enough-OW!"
It's just then that he starts driving faster. Way over the speed limit, too. His hands relax on the steering wheel, and his eyes look more relaxed too.
10 minuets later, we're parked in the hospital parkinglot (not my idea to park.) Elijah hustles over to my side of the car and helps me out just as nurses come down with wheel chairs. I get placed in one and Elijah is pushing me inside.
"I need doctor Avert right away." Elijah says to the recepionist. "Right away, Alpha." She says running to get the doctor. Two minuets later I'm in a hospital gown, pushing.
"Okay, Luna, I'm going to count to three then you can push... 1...2...3 push!" I do as she says and push.
I grip Elijah's hand so ard I hear bones breaking. He squeaks in pain but doesn't move.
"Okay, 1...2...3 push!" I push again but I scream in pain this time. Elijah places his other hand on my upper arm and kisses my forehead. I relax almost instintley.
"Melanie, I just need one more push. 1...2...3 push!" I push as hard as I can and hear cries.
Doctor Avert stands up and announces, "It's a boy." Just as she utters thoughs words the world around me goes black...
