I spent the whole of lunch with Andy outside art. Just me and him, alone, talking. It was nice.
"Ironman easily beats batman" I laugh at his annoyance.
"Oh no. Oh no. And here I was thinking your cool, oh no! I cannot talk to someone who doesn't like batman" he thought I was cool?
"It's not that I don't like batman just ironmans the best superhero going" I shrug my shoulders and flash him a smirk.
"What's ironman without his suit?" He asks
"Oh no! You can't go there on this one since both ironman and batman have no super powers and are just billionaires who decided to help protect people" I like these kinds of conversations. The type that's like a little fall out without actually falling out.
"But ironmans suit does all the work while batman is all down to skill and strength" he leans back, realising he's won the argument. I smile at his cheek and he smiles back. For a minute we just sit there smiling at each other.
After school, I saw Jinxx at the gate.
"Where were you this lunch?" He seemed slightly annoyed
"Oh I'm sorry I totally forgot I was meant to be meeting you! I'll just do the homework at home..unless you haven't done yours then.."
"I finished mine with Chris" he interrupted.
"I'm so sorry" he looks at me pleading and his facial expression starts to soften up.
"It's fine it's fine. We'll have to arrange some other time to hang out" he gives a slight half smile.
"Defiantly" I smile nodding "now I have to be going" I say before walking out the school, down the street.
I got to the bus stop and saw a pretty girl, looked about my age, with half red and half black hair. She was quite abit taller than me and sat down on the steps. She was also alone, quite like me. Everyone else had someone with them except me and her. I stood not to far from the steps and just stood there awkwardly.
"Bus" I turn around to see the pretty girl looking at me
"Pardon?" I squeaked
"The bus is here" she pulls herself to her feet and stood behind me while getting on the bus.
I took a seat at the back and was surprised to see her sit next to me.
"So...I've seen you with Andy quite a lot at school" she raises her eyebrows
"Yeah, well he was the first person that spoke to me today"
"So you didn't know him before?" She seemed slightly surprised.
"No. I don't know anyone."
"I've known him for a while. He's a cunt!"
