Arwa ran and clutched Sohail from the back. His earthy and manly scent immediately called her down. She felt relaxed and less tensed. Her hands gripped his torso in a tight suffocating hold.
Sohail tensed up yet he felt the need to pull her closer and hug her tighter. His heart revved up speed. His entire body tingled from her touch. He closed his eyes shut thinking it is a dream. When he opened them back again, she was still present. She was a drug that he couldn't get over. He would be hypnotized by her thoughts. He was whipped.
"I love her."
"I love her."
He then remembered his brother's confession and It took all of Sohail's power and sore heart to peel her hands off of him. His face changed from soft to soar in a mere second. His face held endless emotion, but they were all covered up by a cold and mercy less look.
Arwa flinched at the look on Sohail's face. Her eyes searched for emotion through his dark ones, but they were empty as the sky above with no hope. She tried to reach out to him with a pleading look. But his cold demeanour.
Her heart sped up as her head started to spin. She could not think straight. She wanted him to talk to her, tell her he is alright, explain to her regarding this behaviour of his. She felt tears well up in her eyes as she looked at him broken.
"Sohail, what's wrong?"
"You are."
"What have I done to you that you hate me so much?"
" I loathe your very own existence."
"Why?" Arwa asked and bit her bottom lip to stop her sobs from breaking out.
"Because you infuriate me," He says in a dark and dangerous voice.
Arwa couldn't hold it anymore. She burst out into fits of sobs as her shoulders shook from her sudden outburst. She clenched her chest through her fluffy PJ's and cried her heart out. When she glanced back Sohail she was surprised to see he had tears in eyes as well. He bit his bottom lip and did something that terrified her.
Sohail couldn't handle it, he was sliping even from under the cold wall, he built around him just to chase her away. He felt the need to walk away and never look back. But he knew he owed her an explanation. His eyes nearly bulged out when she started crying after his revelation of how much he hated her. But it killed him inside out.
Sohail felt like he wanted to throw up. He forced himself to after a very low immune system. He stared at the girl in front of him with ready eyes. He tried his best to stop the tears from, flowing out, but he knew it was no use as he was hurting more and the tears were bound to pour out.
"Why are you crying when you cleary don't want anything to do with me?" Arwa choked out.
Sohail didn't have the answer to that and thus he did what was best for both off them.
Arwa saw Sohail taking a step forward and shove her against the wall. She hit the wall with a loud thud as the cold wall made shivers run down her spine but more then that it was the steel eyes of Sohail. His eyes were red amd puffy.
Arwa's eyes widened as she stared at the man in front of her. She was utterly speechless. She tried to wiggle her way from him but he pinned her with his hands on both sides of of her face.
"Listen and listen carefully, I do not want anything to do with you. That you have already come to know. And these tears are of anger I can't stand you and never will. So next time do me a favour and stay out of my sight."
"What do you hate me so much?"
"You have something I want, and I will not rest until it's officially mine."
"What is it?"
Sohail wanted to say it was her heart but he resisted from saying that. He knew it would spoil his and her life both. And one thing was that he couldn't let his brother down, whome he worshiped.
"Why don't you find that out yourself. Tomorrow we have a share houlders meeting and I wish of your presence there. And you will find out what is more important to me." Sohail said.
"Fine." Arwa choked out after a sob.
"Geez, stop crying. What are you a five year old?" Sohail growls and Arwa flinches and hugs herself feeling frightened.
Sohail blinked at her flinching and shivering figure. He wanted punch and kick himself of he could. He was already dying watching her cry so much for him. He felt hus heart wringe and grow dry. He just wanted to make things right but everything just felt wrong.
Arwa watched Sohail move away from her and she stumbled away from him, trying to create some distance. She felt weak to her knees. Her nose was running and her hair was a mess. She clutched her sweetpants and sniffed a few times and looked at Sohail who was retreating away from until he stopped but never turned back.
"And make sure you return my sweatpants where you took them from and I want them as clean as you found them."
Sohail clenched his fist as the words spilled out his gut. She was wearing his sweatpants and he loved it that she did. It was the only thing of his that was close to her and he didn't want it back and yet he had even taken that away from her.
Arwa blushed crimsome at Sohails words as she stared at the pants she wore. She quickly shuffled away from him and the foyer, running back into her room with tear flowing down her cheeks.
But she wiped them away and called her personal assistant. The phone rang a few times before a gruff voice rang through her ears.
"Sawyer, do you know who Sohail Furqaan is?" She questioned Immediately.
"Yes ma'me, he is the son of her late fathers arche enemy." Sawyer replied all but professionally.
"What do you mean?" Arwa asked.
"Ma'me he is the man who wanted your father's rightful mines."
And that was all Sawyer had to say as Arwa's world came crashing down.
