NOT EDITED.A walk was all it takes to enter, make your presence felt, but then it felt so difficult at the moment. Arwa wasn't sure it was the right thing to do. She fiddled with the hem of her red and black checkers shirt, palms sweaty and mind running wild. She glanced around until found brunette hair bouncing towards her, Aahil..
"Hey, you okay?" Aahil insisted unconvinced.
"Better." Area drawled.
"You don't have to do this you know. We can find another way for it."
"No, I want to do this, Please."
"Fine," he sighed and led her to the board room of his company.
Aahil opened the door for the lady behind him and waited until she entered. The moment she set a foot through the glass doors all the bicker in the board room stopped. All eyes lingered at her small figure. She gave them a small smile and took her seat just opposite of Sohail.
Sohail watched with a very sullen expression, how the man next to him whispered about her being a teenager and an owner of so much wealth. They laughed quietly and mocked her. Sohail felt the grip on his pen tighten as it took all in him not to get up and besh the fools faces. He glanced at the girl who had his heart, she was going through papers. Aahil was helping her with that, a hand around her seat while the other having pointed at a certain sentence in the paper. All he wished was if he could have been in that place and not his brother. He shook the bitter thought away.
"Shall we begin?" Sohail grounded out dryly, not being able to see the closeness of his brother and his new found romance.
"Of course, I've been waiting for you people to start." Aahil said irritated at his brother's odd behaviour.
"Well, after a long and hard thinking I decided to sell my shares I own of the gold mines." Arwa said, looking at the man in front of her.
All jaws dropped around in the room. Every man in the inhaled deeply they stared upon the teenage girl. Sohail stared upon her startled. She wasn't serious was she? Why is she doing this for Allah's sake. He knew with him being alive, he would do everything in the power to take the shares. But all this was a show for her, so that she could hate him.
"Are you going out of your dimwitted mind?" Sohail insisted.
"I believe no, sir. I am clearly sane and I decided this in a state where this was sole decision." She said, her head raised high.
"This is not one or two percent of shares, this is an amount no billionaire would lose." He fumed.
"Mr, Furqaan. We are here to make a deal, and I suggest we stick to our ends and finish what we're here for." Sohail balled his fist and let his anger penetrate his body. He held back from yelling at her for her foolishness.
"After the stock market price being checked and confirmed by Mr. Senior Furqaan. I have decided to place my shares at a valid price 850 million dollars." She spoke looking straight into Sohail's eyes.
The moment those words and price left her lips all men in the room started to battle each other to claim the share.
"A billion dollars and I'm not giving you a cent further." Sohail yelled over the noise. The room went silent and Sohail smirked with success. He had won the deal.
"Funny how people deal make so easy to make a deal with money and heart." Arwa laughed dryly.
"Maybe it's because you don't know that you can't deal money and the heart at the same time."
"Of course, what would a heartless businessman know about hearts when he doesn't have one. A man who makes deals does not know what a heart beats for. The sweet blossom of new love can beat any deal in the world and a man who is cold, brutal and cruel can never feel that wonderful emotion." She shot back.
"And who is that certain man you're pointing fingers at?" Sohail fumed, turning red.
"I don't know Mr Furqaan it could be anyone. Any man in this room or maybe just you." She said the part in a hushed whisper.
Sohail was shattered at her words. They pierced her heart deeper than he could ever heal. Now he felt she was the heartless one. Before he could retort she was already flying out of the room. Not to forget how she messly signed the papers and slipped them to Aahil.
Sohail abandoned his seat and followed her out of the board room. He didn't want to follow, but he wanted answers and he was going to get them.
"Arwa!" He yelled as he spotted her through the elevator.
When she looked up, her eyes were filled with tears and Sohail melted right there and there.
"Why are you like this, why do you have so much against me?"
"Maybe I just hate your existence." He said coldly.
"W-why?"
"Because you have something that was not meant to be yours."
"What is it?" what is it that you want and I don't have to offer." Arwa whispered, her voice hoarse.
"You have my heart you stupid girl, the one thing I was afraid of loosing my entire life." He mumbled, stalking over to her like a beast to its beauty.
Sohail grabbed her by her hand and pulled her into his chest, he stared at her beautiful, glossy eyes. She was like a drop of water in his dry desert. She was his and only his.
His strocked her cheek with his rough thumb, cuped her chin and moulded his lips to hers..
