Sohail's body went and cold and rigid from all the sudden information he had encountered with. His eyes narrowed into slits and his nose breathed fire. His system was an eternal turmoil.

He told Arwa off and stalked off into the house. He really did want to go back to her. But not anymore, she was the heiress of his worst rival. And he couldn't bare his father taking the news really well.

He stalked to his room, paced around trying to find something that could put an end to his frustration. He grabbed a vase and slammed it against the wall, screaming in the process and the room was filled with his anguish roar.

Arwa on the other hand got out the limo slowly whilst taking her own time. She knew it was no use as Sohail's words pierced her heart once against as she felt a sharp pain fill her lungs.

"C'mon Fluffy. It's time we get our own place to live. We don't to be here need anymore." She said sadly and started to make her way in the opposite direction and headed out the Furqaan property.

She walked on hours end. She was hungry as grey lighting filled the sky preparing the dark it's abide. The cold began to be more severe and wind more harsher. Less people were seen on the streets and a few cars passed by once now and then.

Fluffy meowed every now and then at the hotness. Arwa regretted leaving her England and moving here just for the sole purpose of touring. She felt the want to return back to the Furqaan mansion. But she knew it was not worth going. And thus she kept walking till her legs could take no more.

The humid air of California was more than expected. The sun did its job by making sure it was more heat to even bare. Arwa felt her body soak with sweat. Her hijab was soaked and beads of sweat dripped down from her forehead.

The world started to spin and Arwa decided to close her eyes and make it go away. Her throat was dry as the Arabian desert. The last thing she heard was Fluffy's voice, until she fell down to the ground with a loud thud. But don't forget the scream she heard that had her name in it.

"You think this is a fucking joke?" Aahil yelled at a very furious looking Sohail.

"She is the daughter of dads biggest rival. And don't you dare deny the fact that she owns all the gold mines." Sohail reprimanded.

"And you think I don't fucking know that. Fuck you, Sohail if that's what you think. That girl is as innocent as a new born baby. She has never felt the love of a loving father or mother. The reason why I brought her here is that she could get in return what she couldn't get at her home." Aahil yelled and shoved everything on his desk to the floor.

"W-what do you mean?" Sohail asked, afraid of hearing Aahil's answer.

"I love her--"Aahil's words were cut off by a small groan and thus he immediately left his study to the next room where Arwa rested.

Sohail felt his world shatter. His brother's words cut his heart like a million bullets pierced his body. He felt his heart tighten in his rib cage and yet vibrated like never before. The ground slipped from under his feet. His throat went dry and tightened.

Sohail choked on thin air. A sob escaped his lips and a wet tear left his eyes. He wanted to prevent them falling, but they wouldn't. He sobbed clutching at his heart, and dropped to the ground on his knees. He tugged his hair and growled, making the walls of the room shake.

He was lucky that all the rooms of the Furqaan mansion were sound proof and couldn't hear his pathetic break down. It killed him that his brother loved the one he wanted and loved. He wanted Arwa for himself and today, even that was taken by him.

He wiped his tears and composed himself and standing up and straightening his suit, but then left the study and sauntered towards Arwa's room. The door was open just enough for him to her condition. And there she sat the girl who had his heart in her fist and yet she didn't realize.

Sohail stared at her. Her face looked tand from the scorching heat that fried her skin beat red. She looked pale even then. Her jade eyes were trained on Aahil as he caressed her face with his fingers. A growl bubbled up in his throat and it took him his all might to stop it from leaving his mouth.

He closed his eyes and remembered how Aahil had found her Four kilometres far away from the mansion. Aahil had also told him that she had walked as she did not have any possession of any money or wallet. Fluffy was roaming around her until Aahil had spotted her and got suspicious. He then saw a crowd formed around a certain someone and got curious when he saw who it was he immediately bought her home.

Her clothes were pulled off of her petite and small body by aunt Mary. Her room was filled with enough cool air from the air conditioner and fan were surrounding her big round bed.

Sohail felt guilty for letting Arwa down like that. He blampath, but for her current condition. He wanted to storm through the doors and pull her into a loving hug and tell her it would never happen again. But then again, he was trapped in the cobweb of life. He had to sacrifice his love for hus brother and for his brother even that would be possible.

He clutched his broken heart once again and looked away from the people that mattered to him most and walked away with a sore heart and his head down. Once again, life had defeated him.

Arwa glanced at the door every second that passed by, hoping that Sohail would come and atleast take a glimpse of her. She felt disappointed and worthless when he didn't show up for three days whilst she was in bed.

Aahil would gradually come visit her every hour with something to eat or bribe her to smile. She did smile at his effort and concern but it was not a smile that reached her eyes and made her eyes twinkle with amusment. Even then she hoped of Sohail presence which she craved and yearned for.

She lay in her bed, staring at the roof above her. A stray tear left her eye and disappeared to side of her cheeks wetting her pillow. She turned to her side slipping her hand under her left cheek and sniffed. Life was now winning and she lost again.

Her heart was shattered like an hour glass. And she would give up her life to join those pieces back. She felt like Sohail controlled both her body and heart, and playing them with the strings of fire. Then the sound of heavy footsteps filled her ears and she parked them up just in case it was Sohail.

The thudding stop just outside her room and she immediately knew it was Sohail. She quickly jumped out of bed when she heard them continuing. She ran with legs bare and her fluffy yellow Tweety PJ's on, sprinting out of the door as fast as she could.

Arwa saw it was indeed Sohail and she could never be wrong about it and thus she stopped in her track.

"Sohail," she whispered.

And to her voice Sohail stopped dead in his path, but didn't turn around. Arwa ran from her spot and immediately wrapped her arms around his stiff and hard rock back, and hugged him like mother bear to her pup.
