Jake and Y/n were once again faced with the same stupid problem. They both lived far from their school, so they needed a bus to get home every day. Unfortunately, next to nothing has been invested in the bus services since 1974. It didn't help the city, which was prone to the roads flooding from the violent river and overflowing drains, leading to roads being closed.

Today was no different; it was a drizzly Friday afternoon, so now they sat at the bus stop waiting for a way home. Luckily, the bus stop was a brick-built little building with a hole for a window and door, and a solid roof. Leaving them safe from any rain, and it got fairly warm with the two of them sitting there together. Jake and Y/n were both still in their uniform as they sat impatiently.

"...So... What are you gonna do with your long weekend?" Y/n asked, trying to make conversation.

Jake sighs audibly as he slumps back in his seat, "Probably nothing interesting. I'll probably end up just playing games of something." he nodded, "What about you?"

"The same, I guess..."

"You don't have any plans for the weekend?"

"Not really.." Y/n shrugged,

"Really? No big party? Or date? Or anything."

Y/n laughed. "No, I like being at home. With a cosy blanket, a good book and some snacks."

A small smile crept upon Jake's face. "That's actually adorable."

"You're always welcome to come join me, Jake. We could watch a movie or something?"

"...Yeah?"

"Yeah, I like being with you" Y/n smiled,

A small blush appeared on Jake's face as he smiled back at her. "I uh... I like being with you too... So you uh... When I come over... I should bring popcorn, right?"

"Popcorn, comfy clothes, and a nice shoulder."

He raised an eyebrow, "Oh? And a nice shoulder?"

Y/n nodded and shuffled closer, laying her head on his shoulder.

Jake tried not to chuckle as a small smile came across his face. He moved his arm around her and laid his cheek against her hair. "Comfy?" he asked quietly.

"Mhm..." she mumbled,

Jake sat enjoying the simple quiet of the rain hitting the roof, the occasional sound of a car racing past and splashing puddles. But after a while, he found himself speaking up, "...Y/n? ... you're single, right?"

"No, I have seven boyfriends and nine girlfriends I'm talking to. They all buy me expensive gifts and take me to Paris." She said sarcastically,

Jake gave her an unamused look, but chuckled all the same. "You don't have to be a smartass about it."

"I am single." She laughed, "Why? Did you wanna change that?'

"Would that be a bad thing? If I were to...you know...change that."

"I'd like that." She smiled,

"You...you would?" he asked in disbelief,

"Mhm. Certainly makes waiting for her bus more interesting if I get to do it with my boyfriend." She smiled, giving his jaw a little kiss.

"Defibnatly... lots of things we could do, waiting for dumb busses if you're... my girlfriend." he flirtatiously smirked,

"Like what?" she cooed back,

"... like this?" He leaned forward a little more and let his lips graze against Y/n's, brushing them against her at first before fully kissing her.

She hummed and happily kissed him back, putting her hand on his cheek to draw him closer.
