Hey, it's chapter two, enjoy!
Beth's P.O.V.;
She stares at Damon with a sly smile plastered on her face, as she moves away from her desk and walks up to the man and pull on her jacket slightly to step further in the office.
"What do I owe this pleasant surprise?" She said coldly but with a tint on amusement in her voice.
"I can't come and see my girlfriend?" He says quietly.
"I, am not your girlfriend. We're just fuck buddies and it's how it will stay." She said with anger and going back to her desk. She can feel him staring at her figure as she begins to sit.
"Do you need anything, Ms. Pierce?" He speaks as if their conversation never happened.
"Can you get me another coffee? I got distracted so it got a little cold." She said sweetly, but narrowing her icy blue eyes.
He smiles tightly and takes her cold coffee and walking out. As she stands up, walking to the meeting room, yet again walking down her black carpet.
She stops mid-walk looking down. "Can someone please get me a new carpet? This one is getting dull.." She said sadly.
She smiled as someone began rolling it up as she walked into the room with slightly tinted walls. "Okay people, we need to step up our game. We have so many books coming in and we need to review them!"
She looked at everyone in the room and sighed, "Jannet take over, you know my notes, I forgot I need to go home for a couple hours."
Jannet smiled, "Of course Ms. Pierce!"
She smiled and walked out as Damon handed her, her coffee, she muttered a thanks and took her private elevator down.
She heard a vibrating noise and looked down at her boob. Oh my phone.. She giggled to herself.
"Pierce," She answered waiting for the person to speak on the other line.
"When are you coming home.. Princess?"
She took a harsh breath and hung up the phone, rushing out of the building, ignoring everyone who speak to her.
"I thought I got rid of you.." She said as she looked at her reflection in her car..
