Chapter 2

Its a Saturday morning and as usual I wake up late . Mostly I don't work at weekend and try my best to spend some time with my family but unfortunately  sleep always kill my plans .

I wake up at 11 o'clock and after taking a bath I went to the kitchen for breakfast ,my mom was there preparing lunch for today . we have a cook but my mom " AH " what to say ,she is a typical mom she do not like the food which Ronald (our Cook) made so she try her best to at least make a dinner or lunch for a day .

Good morning , I said

Morning madam , she said in a sarcasm

I know mom I am also late today and don't make myself for family breakfast I was so tried ,sorry I apologized her

She just nodded and ask for the breakfast

I wanted to eat special  , I said it with a full grin

Don't worry today ur breakfast will be special just like u ate before 2 years , she answered me with a smile

Thank u , so how was ur dinner ? I ask her

She was working while talking to me
It was good

What's the reason behind the dinner ? I ask her with curiousity

Actually Emma got 1st position in her clasß so I promised her for a dinner at her fav place , she said with a shine in her eyes

Wow ! That's so great .   . well where she is? I said with a guilt as I was not there to celebrate her achievement and mom didn't ask me for the dinner because she knew I willnot go .

She had a ceremony in her school so s. she said by offering me the breakfast

"French toast "

I almost yelled in excitement as it is my most fav breakfast

Yes ! Mom replied with a smile as she was aware of my reaction

Thanks a lot and started my breakfast
Mom was still busy in the kitchen and I sat on counter

After some minutes I ask mom with a deep thoughts "mom I want to ask u for something "

She faced towards me so I continue my words while eating my breakfast with eyes on the plate "actually I got a call for interview on a TV show " after a pause " and they insist me but u know my answer, I think that......"

My mom cut off me "I don't know why u r so dramatic emy ... Why u always reject the interviews call ... What's the big deal behind it... I think u become proudy that's the main reason I found "

" mom mom ! Its nothing like that why u always think that I am proudy and something like that " I said this in a rude way

She said nothing

I change my tune as I know she hate my that way of talking " I was saying that I think I have to accept the call and say them yes"

I emphysize on yes by making eye contact with her ... And I saw the expressions change from the cold one to a smile

"Really ? I will be very happy for u if u do that . u know what nail was tellin me that 'everyone feels really bad and negative on emily not giving interview thing ' " she quoted the last words of nail

"Ah! I know why he is doing so , he want the fame by so calling ,' emily's brother ' " rolled my eyes

" Well we all need that thing " She said while chuckled

I laughed

"I will do it don't worry " with a smile

"I know ! We r proud of u ". And give me an appreciation

I smile
