'Good morning beautiful!' Was the first thing I saw when I woke up.
'Good morning, how did you sleep?" I responded.
'I'm picking you up at 7. Be ready! ;)' Harry answered totally ignoring my question. I laughed and started getting ready.
When I was finally ready I ran down stairs. The first day of school was somewhat exciting, especially when the first person I got to see in the morning was Harry. I ate a quick bowl of cereal and texted my girls.
'Hey, ready for the first day of school? I will see you girls there! Haz is picking me up! Love you!!! <3'I knew I probably wouldn't get a response back from Katy, she wasn't a morning person, but Clarissa texted back right away. 'Hey gurl! Of course, I will definitely see you there! See you then Love Bug!' I laughed at her response. Last summer she started calling me Love Bug and it just kinda stuck.
I placed my bowl in the dish washer and grabbed my bag. The girls had gone school shopping with me earlier this summer and I found the perfect bag. It was white and had bright colored flowers all over it. It was originally $60, but being smart shoppers we found it on clearance for $15.
I walked outside and sat on the steps. I still had about ten minutes before Harry would be here to take me to school. He has picked me up everyday to take me to school for as long as I remember. I have my license, but I would rather him pick me up because when he did he would turn the radio up really loud and we would sing every song we could. He would also lace our hands together as he drove, casually looking at me every so often. Our has fit together like puzzle pieces, I never realized something so simple could mean so much.
He pulled up and got out of the car. Leaning up against the side like he always did. It was one of the things he did that I loved. He never ceased to amaze me. I stood up and skipped over to him. I tripped a little making him laugh. His laugh was another thing I fell in love with. It was so deep but gentle. I smiled and kissed him. His lips were another thing I could probably never get used to. The feeling of his warm lips against mine left me wanting more.
We stood there for a minute. My body against his, his arms wrapped around my waist, looking into each others eyes. His were so beautiful, a wonderful mix of green with a hint of blue when he smiled. "I could look into your eyes forever..." he trailed off kissing me one more time. My eyes weren't anything special but according to him they shined brighter than the stars. Of course my grey blue eyes could never compare to his.
He unwrapped his arms from around me, which made my body shiver from the absence of his warmth. He opened the car door for me and I got in, thanking him. He kissed me once more before closing me door and walking to the drivers side and sliding in.
He turned on the radio to our normal station before pulling away. I checked my phone to see it was already 7:20. Good thing I lived a few blocks away from the school. I sang along to Don't by Ed Sheeran as Harry kept glancing between me and the road. Usually he would sing along with me but he wasnt, which made me stop singing. "Love, why did you stop?" He asked.
"Because you usually sing with me but you weren't so I thought something was wrong." I explained.
Harry smiled and looked at me. His smile could make me melt like putty in his hands. "Sweetheart, I was admiring your talent. I still don't know how you haven't been discovered and made a superstar yet." He explained. Harry always made me feel special even if I wasn't as good as he made me out to be. Sure I was in a band but we were just playing for fun. And thought we had big dreams of becoming something none of us really thought it would happen
We pulled up to the school before I could turn the radio back on. Harry and I got out at the exact same time. I got my bag out of the back and took Harry's hand. We walked up to the front door and I looked for my friends. When we walked through the door they were standing there waiting for me. Rissa ran up to me engulfing me in a hug with Katy right behind her. When they finally let me go I kissed Harry goodbye and let him go find his friends.
"So, how was the car ride here?" Katy asked wiggling her eyebrows at me. I hit her arm. "Nothing like that happened!" I told her. Katy always had the dirtiest mind out of us three. She put her hands up in defense. "I thought I would ask." She laughed. I remember when Harry and I first started dating, Katy was so protective she demanded she had to go with us on our dates until she could trust him.
"How was your guy's summer?" I asked. I got the same answer from both girls. "It was boring!" They told me. I don't know how it could have been boring if we were together all the time. We saw each other more that I saw Harry. I just shook my head in response.
I jumped when I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. When I realized it was just Harry I relaxed. He kissed my cheek, "sorry, I didn't mean to scare you babe." He whispered. I just kissed his cheek, telling him it was okay. "Girls do you mind if I steal Hailey for a minute? If need to talk to her." He asked my two friends. They shook their head and left to go talk to other people.
I looked up at Harry in question. He almost never asked my friends if he could talk to me. He would usually wait until they left and then tell me what he needed to say. He laced our hands together and took me out to the courtyard. He told me to cover my eyes which I did. Next thing I knew something cold had been placed softly around my neck.
If looked at the necklace I had just been given. "Oh Harry it's beautiful!" I'm said turning around. That's when it saw Harry holding a dozen Lilies and his best friend holding a poster that said the words in never thought I'd would hear let alone see.
