"Your a very rare creature aren't you?" Deaton asks. I just smirk at him and nod as I start tapping the table with my cat like nails.
"You wanna know what I am?" I taunt as I run my nails along his back and neck. I can't help it, Tigers are huge flirts and a tad cocky.
"Well yeah." Scott and Deaton says but Deatons voice is a little shaky. I smirk in triumph and I walk back to my previous spot next to Scott.
"I'll give you a hint." I say as I start half transforming , showing my tiger skin and Amber eyes and claws. Both of their eyes bug out for different reasons.
"Wow, that's cool." Scott says as he keeps staring. Deaton walks over to me and eyes my claws.
"May I?" Deaton asks. I nod in approval. He picks up my hand and examines my claws and turns them over. He then looks at my face and starts traveling down, stopping at my neck and gestures again if he can see. I nervously gather my hair up and turn so he can see my pack sign. In the Champawat pack, we don't have Alphas or Betas or Omegas we just have a family of tigers so unlike normal species, we have somewhat of a birthmark or something that kinda looks like a scar. It is 3 small claw marks starting from beneath my ear to my collar bone. Scott walks over so he could see why Deaton was so mesmerized. He gasps in amazement.
"You're a Champawat?" Deaton in awe.
"Last of them." i say emptily.
"Wait- whats a Champa..thing?" Scott asks.
"Champawat." I snap. I turn away from them.
"Champawat, Scott, is a very, very rare breed of Tigers. The only ones that can shift into a full tiger if they wanted to without evolution of any kind. They are faster, stronger. Agile and graceful beyond any being. You think the pack of Alpha's is hard to beat? Don't get on a Champawats bad side because they will rip you to shreds." Deaton says bluntly. I chuckle a bit and start circling around the clinic and picking up a bunch of different jars.
"Then what was that thing on her neck?" Scott asks. I turn back around and answer him,
"It's called cicatrix." I say as i walk over to him and use his shoulders to help me on the metal table again. I pull back my hair again to show them.
"Whats a...whatever you said?" Scott asks me.
"It's Latin. It means scar. In the Champawat pack, there is no Alpha, Beta, Omega. It's a family on the same power level. The only thing that separated any of us is my grandmother. Her eyes were unlike any of ours. She was a true Champawat, kinda like a true alpha. She was the best of the best in Champawat history." I responded.
"Your grandmother was known for many other things too." Deaton mentions. A warning growl escapes my lips and my amber eyes flash.
"Watch it buddy." I snap. Deaton sends an apologetic smile towards me.
"What was she known for." Scott asks. I sigh.
"Being a Champawat can drive you insane. If you lose too much control then your own power starts controlling you and you go on rampages. My grandmother killed over 400 people." I say emptily. Scott looks horrified but then hugs me. Again his scent is almost addictive. When he pulls away, i look into his eyes. They flash his golden eyes and i squint in question. I shake my head and hop down and start walking out.
"Wait!" Deaton yells. i stop in my tracks but don't turn around.
"What do you want Deaton?" I sigh.
"Champawat code. I have to ask the tigers permission to share information if needed." He responds.
"No." I say after a moment of silence. "And if you say anything Scott, i will personally kick your ass into next week. And my scratches scar." I growl as I walk out of the clinic.
