I can't help but look at her and feel sorry.
I know how she's feeling.
I know that she wants to give up on us.

Why am I surprised?

I understand everything about her; why she's giving up it's because of me. But I don't talk about it, she doesn't talk about it either.
I like to pretend everything will be okay in the end, but realistically it won't be.

Elana's Pov~

I can't help but wonder what goes on in Luke's beautiful and mysterious mind.
I'm tied between two things,
I can't seem to figure him out
or I've got him all figured out.
Just look at him, watching me.
I know you know how I feel Luke.
I've been giving up on us because I'm not happy anymore. He doesn't make me feel good anymore.
He knows that but won't say anything. We don't talk about it either, I don't know what we're afraid of; I just know that I am afraid. Maybe it's change or maybe it's losing each other. What's the harm? I mean we are already both so poisonous to one another.

He shouldn't be surprised.
