It took all of her inner strength to not drop the plate on the floor and run to her apartment in excitement and shout like the fangirl she was but she held her poise. Inhaling in deeply she stared at the man before her, fighting the blush that threatened to creep up her cheeks.
-Yes...? - Mark spoke, raising an eyebrow and holding a cheerful smirk on his lips.
She forgot to speak.
-Shit... - She mumbled and earned a lightly chuckle from him. - Fuck. I'm sorry for cussing so much.
-Don't worry. - He smiled at her gently. - So what is it that you want?
-Hum... My mum dragged me here for me to introduce myself to the neighbors so... - She twirled her foot around on the floor, trying to dig up the grey carpet with the tip of her shoes. - I brought these sweets for you... If you want of course. I mean, you could say no suspecting that this is fucking poisoned and... I just cussed again... Damn it. - She finally placed her hand on her face and breathed in deeply. - Let's begin once again. I'm Lumia Difonis and I'm your new neighbor.
She extended her hand towards him in order to greet him which he took in his hand.
-I'm Mark Fischbach. Welcome neighbor. - With that he took one of the chocolate sweets from the plate. - You're not american, are you?
-I'm originally from Sweden but I've been living in the U.S since I was 6 years old so... I think I'm almost american.
-Indeed. - He smiled and took another chocolate sweet from the plate. - These are really good. You made them?
-Honestly, no. - She smiled lightly and looked at the floor. - But I made ice cream. If you want to come by in a bit when we get the living room all set up. We would be more than happy to share it with you. - "And my mum will be extra happy for me actually being somewhat social... in an awkward way."
-I would love to! - His smile grew so wide she could've sworn that he could easily pull of a Joker smile.
-Great! Well... - She handed him the plate and waved at him. - Don't worry about the plate, it's not really needed much. Eat as much as you want just don't eat too much to get diabetes.
She smiled and walked away, towards her home. Her hair swayed across the air, creating a wave of dark bluish hair to brush Mark's shirt light before falling into a long cascade. He couldn't help but smile at her petit figure walking away from him, leaving a light scent of mint and chocolate behind. Without a minute's delay, he returned to his home and closed the door in order to continue his recording session.
Once Lumia heard Mark's door close, she rushed to her home and leaned against the wall, taking in deep breaths. Her mother came out of the bedroom to see how her daughter was and a worry expression washed over her face.
-Lumia dear, what happened?
-Mum, tell me you brought the ice cream I've made.
-I did, my dear. It's in the freezer. - She brushed Lumia's hair away from her face. - Tell me what happened. You're getting me worried about you.
-We are going to get a visitor for the ice cream.
-Oh that's lovely. - Her mother expression grew from worry to excitement. - We need to put this place presentable, come on. - She helped Lumia get up and pulled her to one of the boxes that had her drawing desk parts. - We need to put everything in place for the visitors. Maybe he will be your prince charming. - She smiled widely as she opened the boxes that still had ducktape.
"Mark... my prince charming? Mark Fischbach having a relationship with me? Ridiculous..."
Despite this thought, Lumia couldn't help a blush that finally appeared on her cheeks. It would be a magical life she would have... Living with Mark Fischbach. Always be greeted with that warm and cheerful smile everyday. To be held in those strong and perfect arms only to recieve sweet kissed from those perfect lips and listen to lovely words spoken with that hurky voice and... What was she thinking!?
