Standing dumbfounded in the center of the living room of Jade Condos' penthouse 1503 was none other than the handsome Jungkook and the adorable Coco. Both human and dog stared with heavy eyes at the beauty as she continued her acting.
Jungkook watched Lisa continue to cry as she hugged him. A part of him was extremely happy, but at the same time, he was at a loss for words.
Seeing her act, he couldn't help but wonder... It was no wonder she was only a model and fashion designer. Her acting skills were beyond horrible.
Shaking his head, he lifted his hand and patted her head. His only option now was to go along with his wife.
"Alright, I'm sorry I scared you. I couldn't get inside because Coco kept moving away."
Coco: "....."
Hearing this, Coco quickly darted his head to look up at the "evil peasant." His expression seemed to say, *'Seriously? You dare to put the blame on me?!'*
"Wroof!"
Coco stood on all fours and squeezed himself in between his mommy and the evil man. He tugged and tugged until he parted his mommy away.
"Woof! Woof!"
*'Mommy! Don't listen! It was the evil peasant! I was too excited to see you, and he wouldn't open the door for me!!'*
Lisa unwraps her arms around Jungkook and glances down at her baby. Seeing that he wanted attention, she squats down and hugs him. Her cheek rubbing against his head and her hands caressing his soft, white fur.
"Oh, my baby. I missed you so much."
She didn't dare to look at Jungkook. Lisa knew how bad her acting was. Especially with her personality, anyone could tell she was a bad actor. Luckily, Jungkook didn't say anything about it. If Bambam were here, he'd probably laugh in her face until his head fell off.
---
After a few minutes of giving attention to her baby, Lisa gathered her courage and stood up. She turned her head and looked at Jungkook. Her demeanor returned to her usual self. It was as if she hadn't shown him her terrible acting.
"You should go wash up. I'll finish preparing dinner."
"Mm."
Jungkook answered indifferently. He lifted his hand and placed it behind Lisa's head. Pulling her closer, he pecked her on the lips.
"I missed you too."
As usual, he didn't wait for her reaction and walked toward the bedroom. However, he didn't forget to pick up the cutting knife lying on the floor and set it in the sink.
Lisa: "....."
Coco: "....."
Watching the tall and celestial-like man's back, Lisa pouted her lips. Since they'd been living together, she'd realized how open-minded Jungkook was. If he wanted to kiss her, he'd do it. If he wanted to know something, he'd ask. If he wanted to say something, he'd say it. It was as if the man didn't have any sense of shame at all. Then again, it was also her fault because she liked that side of him.
While Lisa was lost in thought, Coco, at the side, rolled his eyes at how shameless and sneaky the evil peasant was. He turned his head and moved to his bowl of food and drink. After today's exercise at the Jeon Household, he was very hungry, thirsty, and tired.
---
Lisa walked to the kitchen and grabbed a new cutting knife. She quickly went back to cutting the remaining meat and vegetables to prepare dinner.
---
Inside the bathroom, the sound of water running could be heard from the showerhead. Jungkook stood still as water droplets slid down his toned and naked body. His mind couldn't help but think back to what happened at the Jeon Household.
---
Before he and Coco left, Grandpa Kim had spoken to him privately...
---
Grandpa Kim: "Jungkook, when are you planning to get married?"
Jungkook: "When I'm ready."
He had answered that because he wasn't sure how Lisa felt. Whether she was okay with him making their relationship public or not... He'd need to ask her first.
Jungkook didn't know why, but the old man gave him a weird and strange look. Like one who was trying to see through something... However, the old man's next words were even more strange.
"How about marrying my granddaughter? I'm sure you'd like her a lot. You both are a great match."
When he heard the question, Jungkook looked at the old man. He had heard about Grandpa Kim's granddaughter, but he had never met the girl in person. Not only that, rumors spread that she was very pretty. However, no matter how pretty a woman is, to him, no woman could compare to his Lisa.
He looked at the old man. His expression was cold and aloof as usual. Parting his lips, he answered straightforwardly.
"I already have someone in mind."
And that was the truth. Lisa was the only person on his mind. She was also the only woman he would marry.
Her and her alone.
He didn't stay to chat with the old man for long. After speaking his piece, he left the Jeon Household with Coco. He just wanted to go home and see his wife.
---
Jungkook ended his thoughts and turned the shower off. Stepping out, he wrapped a white towel around his waist and grabbed a smaller towel to dry his hair.
Quickly changing into a set of loungewear, he headed toward the kitchen and was greeted with a delicious aroma.
Stopping in his steps, he looked at the back of his wife. Unknowingly to him, his entire being softened, and his lips curled upward into a warm and lovestruck smile.
He respected Grandpa Kim like his own blood grandfather. The old man may have offered his granddaughter's hand in marriage, but to Jungkook, she was not the one he wanted.
The one he wanted and needed was Lisa.
In his whole life, she was the first and would be the last woman for him. No one could make him feel the way she does.
She completes him.
