Chapter 120: Let's go

Arriving at De L'amour, when Lisa walked inside her office, Bambam was already waiting for her.

"Boss! What happened? You even called Lin Hanbin to come here too?!"

Lisa looks at Bambam, then she walks over to one of the couches in her office.

"Bangchan is missing."

She then sits down and looks at the other man in the room. He was older than Lisa by a year, however the black Moto jacket he wore made him look extremely young. Not only his clothes, but the pretty and flawless features on his face did too.

"Have you found him?"

"Almost. It seems like someone else is trying to hack into the cctvs set up in the streets of Imperial.

"However, I set up a code, they need to break it first to get in."

Hanbin did not look up at his boss. As he spoke, his fingers continue to dance with the keyboard.

"However, it's not one person, but two. I don't know if they're together, but from what I saw, they're using two different IP addresses."

Bambam walks over and sits down next to Hanbin. He glanced at the laptop, then he looked at his boss.

"Boss, how do you know Bangchan is missing?"

"Housekeeper Kang."

"Ohh....."

Bambam nods his head. If Lisa had said someone else, he would still have his doubts, but Housekeeper Kang is a trusty subordinate of Old man Kim. Since he called then something serious must have happened.

"Found it!!"

Hanbin exclaimed. He placed the laptop on the coffee table and turned it to face Lisa. Reaching forward, he taps a button.

*beep*beep*beep*

Three video screens pop up on the laptop in a neat order. Hanbin points to the first video and starts explaining.

"The first video, Bangchan just came out of Timeless Mall." Then he points to the second screen, "A few minutes after he came out, he bumps into a bunch of dimwits."

From the side, Bambam frowns at the videos. In the video, bangchan was just walking amongst the crowd in the streets.... until he sees something that made him shout and runs towards a dark alley.

Hanbin continues to explain each video from his opinion.

"This one is the third video. It's quite dark, but because it was in broad daylight, everything is still quite clear."

Lisa did not say a word except listen. After watching the videos, it seems bangchan wasn't kidnaped for threat. He was taken because he was a witness.

"Can you clear their faces?"

"I can try."

Hanbin then taps on the keyboard. After adjusting the video quality, everything comes into clear view.

Rewatching the videos from start to end, Lisa's beautiful expression turned uglier by the second.

Bangchan was out shopping at Timeless Mall, when he left, he witnessed a man getting beat up by a bunch of hooligans. Lisa knows the type of person bamgchan is, even if he is weak, he will still lend a helping hand.

In the last video, bangchan and the man he tried to help were both beaten up until they passed out. Following that, a black van pulled up and they were dragged away.

Just when the hooligans shove the man bangchan tried to save into the van, the camera was able to capture a small fragment of his face.

"Haaaaaaaaa--!"

Bambam gasped in shock and his eyes widened to its maximum. Pointing to the laptop, he stutters.

"T-t-t-tttthhhh--ttthat's...."

Hanbin frowns at Bambam. He's never seen the man, but Bambam has? When?

Tilting his head, he looks at his boss for an answer, however.... when his eyes met her bluish green eyes, he swore, they had turned black.

Lisa: "Locate the van."

Hanbin: "I did. It's-"

Lisa: "Let's go."

Not wanting to waste time, Lisa stood from her seat and walked out of her office. However, before she could, her phone rings.

Both Bambam and Hanbin turned their heads in her direction. Who knows what that call can be about.

Oblivious to her two subordinates, Lisa looks down at her phone, but she frowns.

"Hello?"

["Kim Lisa."]

From the other line was a woman's soft voice. Lisa knew this voice very well and the reason for this call. Her lips curl upwards and she decides to play along.

"Zhi Yuri."

["Hahah, I knew you wouldn't forget about me!"]

"What can I help you with?"

["Ahem. I called because I know who's blocking my hacker from accessing the cctvs in Imperial."]

"Your point is?"

Lisa didn't feel like playing along anymore. She was never one who likes to beat around the bush.

["Lisa, as your friend, please don't get involve. We have everything under control and we already have someone on the case. You just arrived in Imperial, you wouldn't-"

"Bamgchan is involved."

["..."]

"Detective Zhi, you can handle this matter in your own way, as I to mine."

["Lisa, you cant-"] *beep*

Lisa ends the call without letting Yuri finish. She was running out of time... no, Bangchan was running out of time.

Any minute lost can be a life at lost.

"Boss, are you-"

Lisa glanced at Bambam, her expression indifferent and murderous. She knows what he's thinking. Even if she doesn't want to get involve, bamgchan was taken.

Remembering how those hooligans beat up bangchan, the raging devil inside Lisa rises. Those who lay a finger on her loved ones must pay the price.

"Let's go."

She strides out of her office with Bambam and Hanbin quickly following behind her.

As they walk to the parking lot, Hanbin was very curious as to who the man Lisa tried to save was. He leans closer to Bambam and whispers,

"Bam, who's the guy? How do you know him and I don't?"

Hearing the question, Bambam rolls his eyes at Hanbin then his expression turns serious.

"His name is Min, an employee at Jade Condos."
