saturday
Yoongi seemed to be the first one awake, he could hear Jimin's soft breaths upstairs. He carefully stood from the lounge, applying pressure to his ankle to see how it was feeling. It was feeling a lot better than the day before and he could easily walk on it.
Whilst Jimin was asleep, Yoongi had made his way over to the kitchen to get himself something to drink, he moved over to the back door and looked out to the trees as he drank from the cup, he could see a wolf sitting at the edge of the water. The brown wolf was sitting there watching, Yoongi tilted his head at the wolf but all it did was get up and go back in between the trees.
Yoongi had finished his drink and went back over to place the cup into the empty sink. He made his way up the stairs and quietly went into Jimin's room. He glances over at the human still sleeping then he turned to go into the bathroom.
Hoseok had gone back home, Namjoon was sitting out the back this time, coffee in hand as he soaked in the warm sun. "There was someone in his house" the male says this time. Namjoon looked up at him at the words. "There definitly wasn't anything strange yesterday?" Hoseok thinks back to the dead wolf he had seen near the house.
Namjoon shook his head. "As I said, only the cover was taken off the lounge, but he could have just been doing some cleaning" the human voices out, Hoseok frowns at his boyfriend. "Why would he be cleaning if he was sick?" he questions his boyfriend this time, he just doesn't understand.
"He felt bad about not going into work, so he could have been doing things around the house to make up for it" Namjoon thinks that Jimin would be the type to punish himself for something like that, especially the way that he had been speaking and acting yesterday, it did seem like that was the case. "He did seem unwell yesterday, he had a bit of a fever and he seemed like he was somewhere else the whole time I was visiting" the bigger male added on.
Hoseok sighed, he felt like he was going crazy. "Maybe he's there without Jimin realising, wolves are sneaky" Hoseok voices out, moving over to grab his shorts from the chair next to Namjoon. He pulled them up his legs before he moved over to sit down next to his boyfriend. Namjoon offered him his mug.
"Well we can't exactly tell him that a wolf is breaking into his house, it will freak him out" Namjoon says, he is worried about losing another friend after they have just started to get to know each other and he really does like Jimin, he thought the smaller male was cute. "I really like him Seokie, I don't want anything to ruin that" Joon expresses as he looks out to the trees behind their house, part of the reason they chose that house.
Hoseok sighed again as he sinks back into the chair. "Fine, I'll leave it for now. The wolf would have hurt Jimin by now if he had any ill intentions. He did try to protect him that day" Hoseok thinks back to the day he had seen the black wolf with Jimin out in the clearing. "You scared him that day, when he mentioned it he said you came out aggressive towards them" Namjoon looks over to his boyfriend this time as he says that, Hoseok looks down shyly.
"I was trying to get the other wolf to go away but then he just stood in front of Jimin like he did, I knew he wasn't going to back down and I know I wont win against him right now" Hoseok is honest, he isn't in his wolf form enough to go up against a wolf that is mostly in wolf form. He could tell that the wolf was a strong fighter and he was infact bigger than what he was, which is a disadvantage to him.
"There was a dead wolf not far from Jimin's house" Hoseok quickly mentions, he knew the black wolf had fought with him and this wolf was bigger than the both of them. "I could also pick up a blood scent leading to Jimin's back door, which is why i end up seeing the wolf inside the house" Hoseok remembers the male standing at the back door, drinking from one of Jimin's glasses then tilting him head at him curiously, a slight smirk on his face.
"Maybe the other wolf got too close to the house then, if as you said he is protecting Jimin" Hoseok agreed with his boyfriend and he guesses he can't fault the other wolf for doing so, but it doesn't mean that he still doesn't like this wolf. He needs to understand his intentions first and if Jimin does know about wolves now then he wouldn't need to keep himself a secret either.
Hoseok needs to get close to Jimin without the wolf there, or even better, Hoseok needs to get close to the other wolf without Jimin being there.
"I need to meet him privately, he'll be able to smell my scent inside the house so he should know that I doon't mean harm to Jimin" Hoseok mumbles out to his boyfriend. "You still need to be careful though, just because he can tell you don't mean harm doesn't mean he won't attack you the first chance he gets" Namjoon worries again, he also would like his boyfriend to stay in one piece.
"I'll be careful, I won't approach if I think I'll end up getting attacked" Namjoon nodded his head. "Would you like to go pay him a visit? just so you can sus it out yourself" the bigger male questions, Hoseok instantly nods his head as he stands up to stretch his back. The wolf had gone out to make sure that Jimin was alright but the run had felt extremely good.
"Let's wait a bit longer though, so he can have a bit of a sleep in and maybe we can pick up some ingredients for a soup, I'll cook it" Hoseok looked over towards his boyfriend as he said that. "Joonie, I love you darling but you are not cooking anything for that poor boy, he'll definitely be sick" Namjoon smiles at the other male, he had been trying to cheer his boyfriend up and it seemed to work.
"Let's just buy him some from that shop across town" he says instead, getting an approving nod from Hoseok this time. "I love you too" Namjoon says lastly as they both head back inside the house, the empty mug back in Joon's hands.
