Five

Monday

Jimin's eyes shot opened, his alarm hasn't gone off yet but he had woken up for a reason, he's just not sure why.

He sat up and grabbed his phone off the bedside table to look at the time. He had to be up for the opening shift, which was at 6am, it was currently 3:30 for Jimin.

"What the fuck?" Jimin said quietly as he laid down and tried to go back to sleep.

After laying there for another 20 minutes, Jimin decided to just get up, maybe he just had enough sleep.

He went down stairs to make himself a cup of tea, as he waited for the kettle to boil he stood by the back door and looked out towards the tree line.

He stood there and stared in one spot, even after he heard the kettle click off, he still stood there.

He ended up unlocking the door and stepping out into the early morning. It was slightly windy, a little chilly because of the time but he just crossed his arms over his chest.

He heard a sound near the pond, which had caught his attention. Quickly spotting a frog jumping into the water, he turns his attention back onto that spot in the tree line, only just seeing the end of a fluffy black tail.

Jimin looks for a few seconds longer before he goes back inside, making sure that the door is locked before he went over to make his tea.

Instead of going back to bed, Jimin went up to grab his phone, his tea still in one hand, then went back down stairs to sit in the loungeroom.

He sat down comfortably, grabbing his nearly finished beanie and started to do more of it.

He took a sip of his tea and placed it down on the coffee table.

A couple of minutes into doing his beanie, his eyes started closing and ended up falling back to sleep.

He woke up to his alarm going off an hour later, at 5am, like he had set it.

He opened his eyes, he was now laying down on his side, blanket placed over his body and his crotchet beanie was sitting on the coffee table next to his barely touched tea, which was now cold.

Jimin remembers sitting up with his crotchet in his hands, he doesn't know how he ended up the way that he did, but it was too early to question anything that had happened so far.

He just got up from the lounge, quickly packing up what he had gotten out and went upstairs to get ready.

He went about his usual morning routine without any issues then went into town to open the shop.

Jimin usually has half an hour to himself as he gets everything set up, then one of the lovely owners will come in to set up the kitchen.

So during this time of peace he gets, he will connect his music up to the stores speakers and has it playing just a bit louder than he would during opened hours.

Just for some reason, the morning has been funny. He ended up getting a call from the owners just before 6:30, when they would open, saying that they weren't feeling well so they asked Namjoon to come in, just he won't be there until 7am instead.

Jimin wished him to get well soon and hung up the phone, he took a deep breath and nodded his head. It wasn't anything to stress about, he'll just have to tell customers that he can't do food until Namjoon gets there and sets up.

As Namjoon does walk in, Jimin is making two coffees for two different customers. "Are you okay?" Namjoon questions looking at the smaller male.

"Are you talking about the orders or in general, because order wise i'm fine" Jimin answers with an all too fake smile.

"Okay, I'll come back to that when the customers are gone" namjoon comments as he starts to head out the back to start getting sorted.

Eventually when the kitchen is set up and ready and all the customers have been dealt with, Namjoon leans on the kitchen window so he could talk to Jimin on the other side of it, behind the counter.

"What's going on?" Namjoon questions, he knows about the black wolf from Hoseok, but he is hoping that nothing else is happening.

"It's been weird this morning" Jimin starts frowning as he tries to remember everything. Namjoon also frowns, okay so something else did happen if it was this morning.

"I woke up way too early, tried going back to sleep but couldn't so i went down stairs. Then I ended up outside staring at the trees" Jimin knows he must sound crazy but it was what happened.

"Oh, There was this black wolf yesterday when i followed the path, pretty sure i seen his tail when i was looking at the trees this morning" Jimin fiddles with the utensil jar on the kitchen window that they were talking through.

"A black wolf? thats interesting" Namjoon wants him to keep talking about the wolf, trying to get any form of information that Hoseok hasn't told him yet. He does know now that the wolf is following him.

"Yes, he was very friendly. There was a brown wolf as well but aggressive from the start, the black wolf scared it off, so i'm okay" Jimin reassures, he is secretly hoping that Namjoon doesn't find him weird after all of the rambling.

"It's weird right" Jimin groans and places his head into his hands out of embarrassment.

"Not embarrassing at all, wolves are known to hang around this area, i wouldn't be surprised around your house though, because of the woods.

"Oh hyung, i followed that path and there is a run down greenhouse" Jimin suddenly gets excited, changing the topic off the wolves. "I can always build a garden closer to my house, so i'm thinking i could fix it up as a secret hang out" he adds on reaching over for Namjoon's hands.

"I could put some book shelves, a comfy couch or bed that i could relax on, some table and potted plants" he starts to list things he would like to add in there.

"That sounds like fun Min, let me know when you do it, i will be happy to come and help out" Namjoon smiles happily at the smaller male's excitement.

Namjoon also tries to remember to tell Hoseok about what Jimin said about the wolf when he goes back home later.
