The moment... the time had finally come.
Things had escalated beyond all reasonings..
It was about time. The guards arrived with haste
A welcome relief after what felt like an eternity. Priest Seto and Mahad approached the cave
Their camels trudging over rugged ramps and uneven grounds as they traveled miles through the blistering desert.
For them, going on their way from a distance
It was a mix with a heart pounding with hope and dread.
I had fled the palace, driven by my own resolution Not out of selfishness, but from a desperate need to prove myself and be useful for once.
My focus has been on other things
It was consumed by one name....The one and only.. Bakura..
Needing to find him was important before it was too late.
It was preachable... that it was needed for my own will to find my own needs...
It was a reach that needed to be met so soon...At last, they reached the cave's entrance.
Seto dismounted first, his eyes were sharp with a clear view"Leave this to me" Seto
He declared with quiet authority, stepping forward.
"I will open this cave and find Yuza. It is what must be done." Seto
With a surge of his formidable strength
Seto shoved the heavy stone aside.
The narrow entrance revealed a dim cramped and hollow.
Mahad's gaze flickered inside, sensing what lay beyond."They are in here. I can feel their presence..." Mahad
"Then... find her" Seto
He commanded without hesitation.
Mahad's voice was steady, resolute.
The air grew heavy with anticipation as they stepped into the shadows
Determined... to bring light to the mysteries within.
Seeing what's beyond them behind those doors locking in their pockets"Uh!... they're here, but we've only found one..."
The guard's voices trembled as they cautiously opened the cave's entrance.
Inside, there was only one mysterious person... Kisara.
Mahad stepped forward, his eyes scanning the dimness."So... this is the only one here.
And this girl... she's been alone all this time, trapped in this cave." Priest Seto"But... where in the world is Yuza? Where could she be?" Mahad
"She could be anywhere...
There's no sign of her here.
The only one present is this girl because she's the only one who showed up here" SetoPriest Seto's voice cut sharply through the air
"We will find her. I'll make sure of that" Mahad
Stern and commanding...
The wind howled across the dunes
Scattering dust into the faces of the soldiers as the sun sank low
Painting the desert in fading gold.
Hooves pressed deep into the sand where their horses had been standing for too long.
Seto's jaw was tight, his eyes sharp as flint as he turned toward Mahad."It means we've failed to find her," Seto
He said..
His cold and edged with quiet fury."All this searching was wasted.
You should have been more alert, Mahad.
There's no room for negligence." SetoMahad kept his gaze lowered
His fingers brushing the sand as if searching for traces that weren't there.
His tone was calm, but the weight of regret clung to every word."I could've sworn we were so close to her just moments ago" Mahad
He murmured.
"She must've gone off somewhere... without telling anyone. She's not anywhere nearby." Mahad
Seto's hand tightened around the reins.
His frustration burned behind his composed mask."Then.. we keep looking, we can't sit around here Mahad" Seto
He ordered
His voice was steady but low with impatience."We can't afford to lose her again. You can't look straight if you can't find something you're looking for." Seto
"I'm aware... I shall be more careful with my duties and improved them more" Mahad
A long silence fell between them.
The wind stirred again, carrying faint whispers of the desert
It was the echoes of the chaos that had scattered them hours before.
Mahad rose to his feet, his cloak brushing against the sand."But even... strength has its limits.
I fear she may have gone too far this time." MahadSeto didn't reply right away.
His gaze lingered on the horizon, where the desert swallowed the last line of sunlight.
A faint gleam traced the edge of his eyes
There was no softness, no concerns.... but something tighter
It was restrained..."Then... we'll find her.." Priest Seto
He said finally...
His voice was measured, almost too calm."No matter how far...
Not that.. it should matter" Priest SetoHe turned slightly...
The gold trim of his robes catching the dim light.
He added under his breath, though the bitterness in his tone betrayed him.
