The search continues to dragged on
The cold silence in between was thickening the both of them moved deeper into the cavern.
The flicker of torchlight barely cut through the shadows, but.. there could still be that feeling upon Seto's burning gaze..

It was with something more than just focus.

His words broke the stillness.

"The Pharaoh seems to value her presence far too much for my liking." Seto

Mahad frowned at that
It was the sensing weight behind his calm tone.

"Why is that? She is the Pharaoh's friend?
I assure you... she isn't in any danger, nor in any harm whatsoever." Mahad

His face remained impassive, but.. the faint curl of his lips betrayed a hint of disdain.

"I don't intend to fail him. We'll bring her back and end this senseless chase. With us." Seto

His voice was sharp not cruel, but laced with envy. It was the kind of envy that smoldered quietly beneath layers of devotion and duty.
A chill settled over the air between them, cold and relentless.
Mahad could tell this wasn't just about fulfilling an order.
Seto was fighting something inside himself something he rarely let show.

"This chase was a waste of time" Seto

He said, cutting through the silence with cold finality.

"You have failed it. You should be better next time. I cannot process any failure for the Pharaoh." Seto

Mahad bowed my head.

"You're right... I apologize for my mistake." Mahad

"We will do better next time" Seto

He said...
His eyes were scanning the cavern as if looking for something else.
Then his command came, crisp and inevitable...

"Soldiers... pick up this girl and carry her to the palace." Seto

I hesitated for a moment before asking quietly,

"Seto... what are we doing?" Mahad

His voice was hesitant, barely above a whisper.
He didn't dare look back.

"We're returning to the palace," Seto

He answered coldly, eyes fixed ahead.
Mahad's brow furrowed.

"But? aren't we still searching for her? Yuza?" Mahad

Seto's gaze sharpened as he turned briefly.

"This search will be endless if we continue like this. We need more than mere persistence
We need strategy and clear purpose." Seto

His eyes bore into Mahad's

"You must learn from this failed search.
You are one of the sacred guardians. I expected better discipline and vigilance from you." Seto

Mahad lowered his gaze..
With a mixture of shame and newfound resolve weighing heavy on his shoulders.
He knew Seto's words were not merely a reprimand
They were a summons to embrace the full burden of their sacred duty.
This was no ordinary failure
It was a hard-earned lesson, charging them both with responsibility they could no longer evade.

They rode back through the harsh desert
The shadows were growing long as the palace's silhouette emerged against the fading sky.
The sprawling fortress stood as a bastion of hope in these troubled times, but the weight of uncertainty hung over its towering walls.
Upon arrival, they were met by the other sacred guardians, their faces etched with worry and determination.
The Pharaoh awaited them, silent yet.. commanding....
The embodiment of their collective hope and the future of their people.
Together, they gathered as one..
Bound by a shared desire greater than any lone quest
The desperate need to find Yuza and protect their kingdom from the encroaching darkness.

In the quiet moments before their next move
The air was thick with growing tensions with every heart beating in unison with the heavy knowledge that what lay ahead would test them all..

In ways they had yet to understand....

As they all need..
