Shit, I thought to myself.

There was a swipe, a click and then before any of us could move the door swung open. Detective Ramsay stood infront of us, all traces of his compassion gone, and replaced by something much more menacing. A red-in-the face Paul was huffing behind him, as if he had chased after Ramsay in hurry. Two fully uniformed officers entered the room first, one on either side of the door, their hands hung low and folded together.

What were they going to do? Arrest me?

Before my thoughts could contemplate this further Louis stood up and wedged himself between me and our recent intruders. He knew. Detective Ramsay knew I was the one who sent the tweet, I had gone against his word and now I was going to pay the price.

Louis startled me as he sucked in a breathe, "It was me. I did it. I-"

"No, Mr. Tomlinson. It was not." Something about Detective Ramsay was off, he had never fully gained my trust and I had had a funny feeling his kindness towards me was an act. "We," he continued, "happen to have proof that about 20 minutes ago, at the time the tweet was sent, you were spotted down by the pool-"

"Are you keeping tabs on me?" Louis said taken aback.

Detecive Ramsay didn't respond but directed his gaze directly at me. "Ms. Grey, you have gone against our word.  I must say I am dissappointed."

"Ramsay, maybe we could talk this out? There must be another way around this, she has been through a lot." Paul chimed in, coming to my rescue.

"No, Paul. We had an agreement. She was not supposed to come here in the first place, but I let her stay. I told you at the first sign of her causing trouble she was to go."

"So I was just supposed to stay away." I said. "Get fed information second hand and be okay with that? Just like you are doing to the rest of Harrys family?" I was growing angry. Why could nobody see this from my perspective?

Tears burned behind my eyes, and the dimly lit room began to contort as I tried to blink them back.

"It was for your own-"

"Saftey." I bit back. "Ya, I get it."

"Ms. Grey this investigation has nothing to do with you."

"Is that really what you think?!" My voice crept up an octave. "Because the last time I checked my WHOLE world was involved in this mess. And you," I shoved my finger in his direction, "are doing nothing about it!"

He took a step back and straightened his suit jacket. He cleared his throat and his razor sharp gaze honed in solely on me. "We are sending you home. You will be leaving on the first flight tomorrow morning. Say your goodbyes." And with that he turned on his heel and strode from the room.

The two officers moved to block the door, and prevent anyone from folloing him. Louis was livid his chest was pressed against the officers as he yelled after Detective Ramsay, Eleanor put her arm around me and I realized how badly I was shaking. From fear or anger I wasn't sure.

"You can't just talk to somebody like that! She did absolutely nothing wrong-" Louis' voice faded down the hall as he had finally pushed passed the officers and was on the pursuit of Detective Ramsay.

I sat on the edge of my bed and Paul knelt in front of me. "Give him an hour to cool down, then come talk to him again." He gave my knee a squeeze and nodded gruffly, then left the room.

                                                     * * *

It had been about two hours, Louis had returned muttering a string of profanities under his breath and Eleanor had stayed with me. She found an old Disney movie on Netflix to pass the time, and the three of us sat on my bed in silence as the happy, and out-of-place  tunes rang through the television.
